So i played this guy zvz, i picked z, he pick random.
i was at 6 on LT map, my scouting lord scouted him at 9.
natually i 9 pooled, with my 9 drones mining, 6 of my ling charged at his main.
But he went 12 hatch pool, and by the time my ling get into his base, he's got 2 sunks just finished on either side of his mineral line. I run my lings back and blocked his chock. And when i c him gathering gas, i try to take down the extractor but failed, losing 6 lings.
Meanwhile he's got only 2 lings and 2 sunks and powering hard(i mean at least 15 drones)
I proceed to lair, and when my spire finishes, i noticed my lord is dieing under heavy fire from his spore(again on either side of the mineral line.)
i used my 3 mutas trying to harass him but the spores were well placed and the whole base is covered.
i run my mutas back and lost his main vision, i continue to hatch 3 more mutas, 1 min after, 30 lings showed up in my main, killed off spire and all drones, after i got his lings, i try to charge with muta at his main, but as i manage to took out one spore, 6 scourges poped out, killed 3 mutas so only 2 left.

i added this interesting PvT of mine, so u dont come expecting to c an interesting rep only to find a losing battle.

did you expand? 1 gas muts = teh lame , if he was turtling you should take the initiative and expand imo

how did lings do so much dmg if u had mutas?
early game when u saw him makeing the colonies, you should have expanded for ur 2nd hatch and not attacked (assuming the colonies were well placed).
From there just make sure you keep up with lings, make 1 colony behind drones at expo so u can morph it if u see him leave his base and his lings > your lings. make sure ur lair and spire are right with his, since ur bases are so close. make sure you get ling speed.
if he tries to expo to catch up u can power for a bit, like 6 drones (300 minerals = 1 hatchery) drones and u should retain the adv. The extra gas from ur earlier expo should allow u to get 1 armor up for ur mutas, and still outmass. I also recommend getting +1 atk for lings, if u have evo from spores anyway, which i think u should with 2 bases.
be careful not to make too many drones soon after getting the expo, cause he'll be tempted to try and kill u early. Also, make sure u check for a 3rd hatch, and try and stay aware of his ling count.

well, judging from your description only, i think you wasted your early 6 lings trying to take down his gas when he had well placed sunkens. also, a 9 pool 6v9 is hard to pull off, since the distance between the bases is so long, and his overlord would've surely scouted it, so he would've had time to defend his base before you can do any significant damage. and yea, you probably should've taken your natural when you saw him turtle up for a bit. from then on, try not to die to zerglings and overpower him with mutas since you'll have 2 gas to his 1.

gocha, so i do 12 pool, dont waste lings, hold muta at base, expand two gases, overpower him. lol his speedling where like... dunno, take 3-4 shots to kill from a muta and they just run through, i only have 3 mutes T_T

You have an overlord over his base from early on if it's 6v9 so you should be able to see what he's making. If he's linging, you get lings, if he's droning, you drone. You shouldn't be overpowered by mass lings without you noticing he made them. Also, don't 9 pool is 6v9, it's the longest distance, someone who 12 pooled will easily fend it off.

sounds like very noob game. i mean making 2 sunkens vs 9 pool if u have 12 u dont need sunken at all especially if u scoutet it. if he has made 2sunkens and 2 spores he is alreads so far behind that u can expand evan before starting pumping muts.

Sounds like you might want to work on scouting/watching the opponent too. You didn't notice him making an evo chamber or two spores right under your overlord until it was actually being damaged?

u did notice he said 12 HATCH pool?
u may not need 2 but 1 sunk 4 sure against 9 pool
this sunken also practically denies cute "9pool speed lings killing drone and runnin from ur slow lings" actions...
EDIT: and u lost because u:
a) sacrificed eco to early lings, but didnt do any damage at all, instead losing this lings for nothing
b) he turtled and powered so he has I) more production cause of earlier hatch and II) more mins, which leads directly into
=> he can make more lings then u and kill u if u dont pay attention to what untits he is makin
=> dont lose ur lings for noting, if he turtles u make drones to catch up (u had earlier gas than him, did u?), u will have earlier spire and more gas, just make sure u dont die to lings because he badly outnumbers urs (so if he makes lings, u do too, u will easily be able to defend at choke)
after that its just normal zvz, if he does muts as well u have more gas, if he does some scourge ling stuff play like playing against scourge ling stuff :D

Sounds to me like you simply lack experience. If he spent almost 600 minerals on static defense you can expand and smile at him while owning him with anything.

If he manages to "surprise" your overlord with "heavy spore colony fire" and you loose your first 6 lings for nothing, there's not much advice anyone can give you to make you win this game. Your opponent obviously hadn't the best build in the world, but played well focused to give him lots of lings quickly switching into +1 attack upgrade scourgeling, I assume. Combined with your early game sloppyness he would have overrun you with lings no matter what you do, your just not good enough to handle something like that. Look out for weaker opponents ;-)

NATURALLY?!?!? dont EVER EVER EVER 9 pool those spots. you 99.99% of the time fast expand
or in some rare occasions you can rush, such as this: his lord leaves ur base AND u know hes expanding, then I sometimes pull off cute stuff like 12 pool rushing (without him knowin im 12 pooling cuz his lord left my main too quickly) and sending 2 drones and sunken/ling rushing him. Forces him to cancel hatch or die. but thats rare. for you, always fast expand unless someone is as uninformed as yourself, and decides to 9pool, then you rape him like a retarded schoolgirl by simply taking a free and easy economic advantage and 12 hatch/pool/gas with 1 sunken covering everything and like 2 lings, and play from there.

you should have 10 drones mining when your 6 lings charge at his main -_-. learn good 9 pool builds too.

Pretty muchly... gonna sum it up for most of you guys, because I'll see/obs evan from time to time on B.net... he's a nice kid but he's horrible at this game. I'm not sure how much advice he'll pick up either, because I've tried myself to show/tell him how to do things and he refuses to listen, just goes back and does the same old mistakes over and over again. T_T
