offtopic, but afaik people see d2 as hack and slash while games like baldur's gate and whatever are the real RPGs lol o _O

Flash's life seems to revolve around Starcraft, moreso than other players since he started at such an early age before his life goals were set. The interview makes him seem like such a machine x_x

thanks for the translation.
flash is a beast... confidence, only plays 20 games a day, plays soccer, too.

With every single interview I am becoming bigger and bigger fan of Flash. He seems like a sper nice guy. And he is incredible. 10 hours a day of starcarft + school. That is inhuman. And I thought ph.d in econ is tough...
But it is pretty crazy that there was hacking incident in KTF. I wonder if it happened around the time when flash lost to Luxury, Forgg last year

Wow, Flash is fucking amazing. Respect to you man~
Winning a Starleague in 1 year with that determination.. damn.

wow... really nice interview
ty for translation!

Illegal software seems to be a big problem. People seem to be so used to using free software. Even at my company CD key was leaked once. For better games and software usage, illegal usage should be gone. FlaSh says no to piracy.

i love how in all these interviews the parents object to their sons playing games, but as soon as they start winning they are big time fans!
how on earth can play maintain 10 hours of practice a day while schooling and still have time to eat, play soccer and sleep. Hes a machine! its also great to hear that he enjoys the game so much. It really is a fun game...

lol man do you know what an rpg is? no, that you get XP that doesn't mean it is an rpg.. I always laugh when they say War3 has rpg elements because it doesn't.
RPG is when you can roleplay, you can live with the story/world, you place yourself inside your character. In Diablo, the matter is that you kill everything, and your aim is getting your XP count higher and higher and getting better items. Don't you find ridiculous that you can kill the same monsters over and over?

Notwithstanding that I am "used to" software piracy....
Flash seems totally sick. What a dedicated guy, I'm sure he will be on ACE and a master of the sport for years to come. What if JD and Flash were both on ACE. My knees are wobbling now..

He's such a one trick pony, when his hands slow down he'll probably end up living in a trailer or something. You relise that as esports keeps getting bigger, flash and co who eventually drop out will always have a job as a caster, teacher, coach etcetc Not to mention hes a star in sk, he'd be fine once hes finished playing sc

While I am not a Flash fan (or of any Terran player, for that matter), this interview was very interesting nevertheless. Thank you for sharing.
