There are some cool matches here.
Particularly looking forward to a potential Zero vs Kal, Light vs YarnC, anything in Group J, and GoRush and Casy's games.

Justice for BackHo that he gets by far the easiest winner's opponent in Tester and an opponent in GoRush who, while having shown signs of life lately, is still arguably preferable to just about everyone else.
Potential matches that could be really interesting include:
Zero vs Kal
go.go vs Luxury
hyvaa vs Hwasin
Effort vs July
Light vs Yarnc
Kwanro or Casy vs GGPlay this is hilariously optimal for Casy
Glad to see Flash and Stork should be safe (though you never know with the clown that is Stork). I don't like Stork but I like seeing him at least IN the leagues, if for no other reason than comedy.

GoRush's group can't play PvZ worth a damn - BackHo is sitting at a pretty (ugly) 34.38%, and Tester is even worse at 32.43%. ACE fighting!

Yeah, he tends to improve the quality of the games for a while, which is good, plus then you get that priceless "oh god what's going on" look on his face when it all starts coming apart in the semis or finals. :D
Most of the seeds look pretty safe to me, with the exception of GGplay and Tester (2 Ace players in Ro16 yes please?), as well as Kal/ZerO, Hwasin/hyvaa, and possibly July/effort being coinflips IMO. I was writing GoRush off for being fresh out of military training a few days ago, but after seeing him smash through the offlines and + Show Spoiler +kill hyvaa in proleague, who has been rolling zergs including Jaedong left and right
Also, please please PLEASE Hogil kill Canata and spare us from 3-4 hour+ TvTs.

Hm...You barely notice all the zergs, how do they make these groups anyways? Is it a random drawing, I know they try to avoid as many mirrors as possible.

Lol @ Casy and GoRush's groups. Casy 2 zergs, casy absolutely controlled kwanro last time they played, but kwanro has been a man on fire lately, could be rough, and ggplay meh who knows, good chance for the neo emperor either way. And Gorush..well..Backho and Tester are god awful pvz'ers..Seriously gorush should win easily.
Also watch out for guemchi making an upset in group A.

It's not like GoRush's vP is particularly bad or anything, it's average at worst, whereas BackHo and Tester's vZ are really horrible. Don't count GoRush out!

Casy in Ro16 would make my week.
The stars are already aligned for him with two zergs. Throw in only 10 Protosses total in the 40 man tournament, and three are guaranteed to be eliminated before the Ro16. Chances are, maybe four make it to the Ro16. Just like July rolling over a stream of protosses to victory in Bacchus 08, Casy could go far in '09.

i have a question if u loose in round of 32 do u have to do all the qualification again or u get some sort of a seed?
cause i look at lets say yoonjoong the guy cried when he managed to get here
now he needs to play roro which is not that easy but even if he makes it ....

Luxury isnt in a tier all his own..hes just clutch in individual leagues(the 3-0 over zero), but he gets utterly raped by the king, while others atleast give close games or win. Hes in the same league with zero and effort, and zero did he beat him recently in PL. but otherwise yea...july tried to 4 pool great on like some huge map, hes probably among the worst zvzers atm.
