STX Soul New Uniform Revealed Skinny jeans and high tops to match STX's colors
STX Soul has revealed their new uniform for the 4th round of the 08-09 season.
STX's uniforms are set apart from all other progaming uniforms by following the latest trends. The skinny jeans and high tops are following the recent sensational popularity of these items among young teens to people in their 20's and will match with STX's colors to emphasize a young and active image.
The strong red color of the jacket and the skinny jeans that show off the body line are not just fashionable but they also emphasize physical fitness. Even if worn for many hours while gaming, great quality elastic material was used so that the players will not be uncomfortable.
This was produced by male fashion vintage shopping mall Page 9 (www.page9.co.kr), and these uniforms will be worn on the the 11th in the upcoming Shinhan Proleague 08-09 4th round match.

I still haven't finished all the team analyses but I saw this and HAD to post it. OMG. My thoughts the entire time reading this: "JULY!!! T_T"
"What about July???!!! You selfish bastards T________T"
"Are they SNSD??????"
"Skinny jeans on July... Skinny jeans on by.hero"
"STX... you guys are punishing July for eating too much right.. -__-"
"Wow the jean colors are so fucking gay"
"Please... the hightops are bearable but skinny jeans are too much.."
"Hwasin is smiling so brightly like that but what is July supposed to do kekeke things just exploded. The day of STX's matches, even if I don't watch anything else I'll have to look for July. Also why are the uniform's colors like that kekekekekkekeke"
"This is not right kekekekekeke"
"'God of War' what are you going to do..."
"Even skinny Hwasin doesn't look all that great.. -__-;; Are you trying to make July look bad!! Why are you doing this to our God of War!!! kyak~"
"It even looks embarrassing on Hwasin.. what are the other kids supposed to do... -___-;;;; Skinny jeans?? This is something I felt before with STX... should go to your designer and pick a new one... what the hell is this... why is a rich company getting uniforms that are shittier than airforces!!
"I was depressed but now I'm laughing hehe"
"Did you do this to force STX kids to lose weight?? kekekek Even Hwasin who should look the best with it looks like that... the other kids have no chance..."
"July should just go with another uniform. Even the thought of him wearing it is depressing."
"July!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should just wear pants you're comfortable with ^----^;; If anyone says something I will protect you!!!!!!!!!"
"This is just WRONG. Why the fuck are they getting skinny jeans?? It's uncomfortable for the players and embarrassing for the viewers!!"
"A idea of a guy wearing skinny jeans is just fucking embarrassing. Do we have chopstick legs??"
I can't imagine anyone else other than Hwasin that can pull off that look. I agree with Korean Netizens. How are you supose to feel comfortable playing Starcraft dressed like that?
LOL Yeah of course they put it on Hwasin - he looks good in pretty much anything. I do feel sorry for July though - those colours are going to look scary on him. Also Kal will look like his legs go on *forever* - god that boy is TALL in person. Not as tall as Zerglee is/was, but still..... Netizen comments are love.
The shirt is ugly, the jeans look alright but I something with more power than just a tanned calming color would be more suitable for a gaming uniform. Also the jacket does look good (as far as i can tell) and should make up for the horrible shirt. Let's hope the studios are cold enough for July to have good reason to never take off his jacket.

the funniest part was that the top of the page loads and your initial impression is "eh, that's pretty good" and your opinion of the uniform drops as you scroll down until you reach the shoes, and then it's more like "what were they thinking"
Does STX have to cycle through new uniforms every 6 months?
The jacket is the only thing that actually looks good. The shirt is a step down from previous designs, and the bottom half... I'm willing to give it a chance and see if it grows on me, but it does seem pretty fucking rediculous from my first impression.
I think Hwasin may actually be a girl. There's not even the slightest hint of a crotch bulge in the pictures & he's wearing skinny jeans. Completely flat.

that's the problem with professional gaming: not enough dick bulges. where is incontrol when you need him ?
The outfit reminds me of Shinee. Fashion in Korea is so retarded right now. It's like some colorblind designer from the 70s was let loose and allowed to determine what fashion is.

Maybe STX is full of girls, but tossgirl is the only one brave enough to admit it.

Would be much better with Converse yeah, since koreans must have pretty small feet it would look pretty good (huge feet + Converse + slim pants = terrible).
Other than that, I like the colors and the general design apart from the shirt collar. Thank god I'm not insecure about my heterosexuality or this thread would have put doubts into my mind. Apparently everyone thinks that Hwasin and Kal are now going to have gay sex every night.
The windbreaker is nice, but the color of the jeans is kinda blaahhh. Looks like STX was influenced by Big Bang's urban fashion since the style is hot right now in Asia (started in the U.S. and Japan then made its way to Korea).
Personally I think these uniforms are badass, even if their lifetimes as "fashionable" will be extremely short. Keep in mind that most progamers are teenage kids...maybe they want to dress like them?
Anyway, it's a step up from the warmups that most teams wear...there's really no reason that progamers should look like under-dressed bums all the time. At least STX's new unis have style.
Pro team uniforms suck so much these days. They're even worse than a couple of years ago when they were basically track suits plastered with advertisements.
Teams should be required to dress their teams in proper three piece suits. The only team logo would be on the handkerchief in their front pocket or perhaps on their tie.
Doesn't Hwasin usually just wear the black long sleeve shirt that says STX instead of the uniform anyway? I didn't see him too often in the office uniform with the name tag.
Actually, after seeing it "in action", I'm sold. STX really does know what they're doing when it comes to uniforms. I still like the old one better - more classy - but this is cool too.

Yeah they not nearly as bad as I thought but they could use different shoes though.

Uh, there's no such thing as "Big Bang fashion" because it's nothing more than urban fashion. People that usually label it as Big Bang fashion are fangirls who think that G-Dragon is a genius in song writing and is a trend setter in fashion, which isn't 100% true. Most of Big Bang's clothes are from the U.S and Europe. They do wear Korean brands too, but mainly brands like Colonize, or sometimes a Colonize rip off of WrongWrok's. Big Bang's company, YG Entertainment is the most westernized since they hire a lot of American dance choreographers and fashion gurus to help their artists. So you can say that "Big Bang fashion" started in the west before heading to Asia.
Argh my comp being retarded cant get to my library i got awesome closeup of him being hit in head with soccer ball and flinching its sooo cute <3 u july.

Spot on, although it wouldn't be wrong to say that the particular "Big Bang Look" comes from a combination of NYC-LA street fashion that went 80s retro with bright colors and flashy patterns (brands like... Undercrown), which was then spread far by people like BAPE and Pharell... and kind of influenced the French Tektonic look, which is a crazy dance electro look.
This look, which is trendy now in Korea, is actually a good 10 years old in NYC
So next time someone calls it "Big Bang Fashion," correct their asses.

wow poor july, also where im from we make fun of people that wear those tight ass jeans, usually its the goths or skaters that wear them, korea obviously has a different set of style and fashion sense than the US.

But nope. It was just the old thread bumped.
It pains me to see the God of War in skinny jeans. Save July from this inhumane treatment!
