I always rooted from savior against nada and i love boxer as much as the next man, but the guy just has so much character to keep on going back to the top, nobody else has done it like he has. There is only nada and boxer that make me stand up whenever they play. I can't help it but cheer and sometimes even yell at my screen. Some don't like his style, i love it. He's capable of so much. My biggest wish would be to see him on fire one more time. Just one more time. Before it all ends. A last spark of power. A reminder to all these young guns that he survived all these years only to end an era as the greatest of all time. Imagine one last grand final. God i would fly to korea for that.

That's a sick feat, 7 years, thousands of new kids in the game, never left Top30. First video I ever watched about "starkraft played as sport in good korea" was this one, I'll never forget the impression I got "whoa this guy is siiick!" It was without the english voice over: That's also when I fell in love with the spam sound.

He doesn't even have top 5 ELO peak....he is only # 8...sure a great thing difficult to achieve, but clearly not the best or greatest. 1. Impact/Revolution on Starcraft Boxer was the most important factor to professional starcraft. Boxer essentially created progaming. However, he is far from being the greatest player in starcraft. Just because you've impacted the game doesn't mean you are the best at the game. For example, who is the BEST at Mutalisk control? JulyZerg? Jaedong? Who INVENTED Mutalisk control? Shark[gm] of MBCGame did. But, we always regard JulyZerg and Jaedong as far superior and successful than Shark, obviously. And, it's not like NaDa sat back, letting other people change the game. NaDa wowed everyone with his beastly macro. He was called, "1 Expansion NaDa" for a good reason: If NaDa was allowed to take his natural, he would most likely win the game. Remember Tornado Terran? Commentators would yell "toong toong", for the sound of unsieged tanks. He didn't even have to siege his tanks against protoss, once he macroed up to 200/200. 2. Ranking System ELO rankings actually mean shit. NaDa won all the important games, and clinched the titles. Sure, he lost many titles too, but if you didn't know, ELO points gained from winning the OSL Finals is no different from ELO points gained from winning a measly challenger tournament game. NaDa has the highest KESPA rating ever achieved before it was rescaled. NaDa won the most OSL and MSL crowns combined. Please. Boxer?

Shark reputedly discovered the overlord grouping technique, but I'm pretty sure that this discovery came after July had already been raping people right and left with his mutas. I don't even remember seeing or hearing of the overlord technique until late 2005 or perhaps 2006.

He doesn't even have top 5 ELO peak....he is only # 8...sure a great thing difficult to achieve, but clearly not the best or greatest. Who has been playing successfully for as long as NaDa?... You tell me.

Elo peaks are subject to inflation over time, thus the peaks become progressively easier to break over time. They are basically incapable of comparing how skilled players were back then to how skilled they are now, its just impossible. It does give a ranking of who is good at the moment though. 2) Nada is as important, if not more important than Boxer and Oov Nada developed/pioneered - Vulture harass TvP - Torando terran TvP - The first steps towards a macro style TvP - SK Terran - Developed TvT - APM whoring Nada was the first golden mouse winner Nada was the first person to win three MSLs Nada won all three OSLs in very distinct periods Nada can never be counted out - 7 years on he is still making Ro8 of League

Shark reputedly discovered the overlord grouping technique, but I'm pretty sure that this discovery came after July had already been raping people right and left with his mutas. I don't even remember seeing or hearing of the overlord technique until late 2005 or perhaps 2006. you can do muta micro without overlord grouping, its just not as powerful or easy. im not sure if you can use hold position and patrol without the ovie, might just have to right click on targets
