Not doing these ones because we have something a lot better in the making.
I'm really curious, so I hope you guys finish it soon :D
In the meantime, here's something I did a couple weeks ago. I just based it off of proleage matches (i.e. if there's a ton more TvT on Othello than any other MU, it's probably because the coaches know that sending another race against the other teams T will start the game off with a disadvantage).

*Sob* for zergs. KeSPA needs to make maps at least a little balanced for zergs, it's more exciting for everyone.

PoP: I thought Joyo played PvT instead of TvT [TvZ TvP PvT]? Like in the epic Paradoxx game with Boxer, he was P. Therefore he wouldn't be included in longest TvT loss streak.

Of course, Savior was an absolute terror so that probably didn't help the stats..
I forget which zerg pro it was, but around that time someone said in an interview that protoss players today felt a lot more solid than they used to.

Team winning streaks Team losing streaks Player history in terms of teams Team lineups from each team league season (This might be hard) Team Head 2 Head

Nice Thread!
I always knew T>Z was the most imbalanced matchup.

how often does player with higher ELO beat player with lower ELO? would be a way to show how useful ELO is to evaluate player skill, but maybe this info is already contained/defined in elo score...?

It is - you can use the difference between ratings to compute the probability that either player will win. For example, a 200 point advantage indicates an approximately 75% chance of winning, while a 400 point advantage indicates about an approximately 90% chance of winning.
The formula can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating#Mathematical_details

Bo3/5 stats for the top players, as well as Ace match records, would be very nice to know if you have the time.
Much thanks, very interesting stuff!

Protoss is so dominant now that after terran, protoss has the most gold medals. Interesting stats.

this is so great, tlpd is getting better. what about "most games won under/over 5/40 minutes etc." maybe that requires too much work. anyways this kicks ass.

Wow, Boxer and Justin... together ... in a category. *Head explodes*

This is really a credit to the awesome racial balance of professional SC. I can't believe it's so close!
Well I'm sure map balancing play's an even more important role. Especially during proleague when team's had to decide what race to send out on a specific map. Of course every race has to play now do to the rule changes.

Would be cool to be able to list players by their birth date
