I take back my previously stated "This is why you can't host e-sports events in the US" because apperently it happens everywhere. Why would you need a VISA to visit germany though? Just because Russia isn't part of the EU or what am I missing here? :p I thought a passport would do just fine if it was in Germany =[. | ||

Yeah, I've seen many cases were russians get denied visas pretty much randomly. Like national team members (in non pro sports) that have been abroad many times without "taking our jobs" and when they want to compete for their non russian club (food and housing included) long enough to need visa they get slapped. Others in the same position gets visa like nothing. Apparently you have to apply in some weird way and I dont really remember all steps, but it was really silly. | ||
