Someone who is D+ would have been a good player in 2000-2002

Just mass play with friends or in ladder and try to find a mentor who is better than you then you will get better for sure.

I don't really think there is a skill "wall" before C+ level. If you practise you will get better.

That is not completely true. Not to be braggy or cocky but I started playing a lot maybe 5 months ago am I have reach D+/C- level. It was during the summer so I played maybe 3-4 hours a day for maybe a month and I reach the goal I wanted to go.

lol at koll. anyway different people are just suited to different things. for example i picked up fps' very quickly and got really good at them quickly (i just have good...awareness? hard to explain, i just always know whats going on in fps' and always do the right thing or go the right way)...whereas rts' I struggle to improve and although I do it's slow progress, but I don't mind. If I made 0 progress at all I would get frustrated but just getting a tiny bit better over time is enough for me.
