SeeD(bot) is stealthbot* that greets newcomers and encourages to use .allseen command that checks last 15 people who have been in channel. In it's description you can find link to MasterOfChaos' TL thread about Chaoslauncher. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=65196 Since there are 2 channels used now and I heard that op seedclan has it's own bot I think it will be a rather good idea to keep both channels since some people like me are used to op seedling one more. *Stealthbot is a program used for chatting when StarCraft is minimzed (alt+tab). Download it from www.stealhbot.net if you idle a lot but want to keep an eye on the channel. edit: bot name changed from beetle(bot) to SeeD(bot) | ||

Are you sure that having two different channels is a good idea? I do think stealthbot is an excellent program though; I don't want to tab in every minute to check for something. The best program is ventrilo if anyone has a server he or she want to share. | ||

so if i cant play b.net i have no chance in treining with anyone? if u want a ventrilo server (chan) i can provide 1 (Europe based) I do watch VOD's but that doesnt help me as i cant play with any1. :< (sadpandabearguy) | ||

Op seed is probobly taken (the player seed) I'm willing to hamachi with people who doesn't have access to bnet; it would be infinitely helpful if you have a vent server though. However, fear not because there are hundreds that are up for 'free rent' Come to Op Seedclan! | ||

I like that you brought up keeping Op Seedling, but the only reason why I changed to Op SeedClan is because whoever "seedling" is, is not on. I just decided to make it more organized by having a bot and giving members command. The clan stays neat, organized and well mannered. (When I say clan, I really mean the players that come & go) Anyways, EVERYONE is getting confused, its a coincidence because I've been looking for someone with a bot (And I forgot I'm the one who told you about stealthbot .. hehe). Please bring op seedling to op seedclan as it has been growing very largely and quickly. I see you on op seedling right now. I was also thinking that if I do not hear the person who started all this to reply or become active, I may be thinking of taking lead of this. Although that's in a month or so. I cannot run something like this by my own. For I'm going to need some leaders to help me keep organized and a forum which I can moderate. Hope you understand Beetle! | ||
