If so its going to be rather painful lol. Has any foreigners, other than nony, given a strong showing against a pro gamer yet, by the way? Strelok and Fenix have been doing alright
Nony didn't give a strong showing unfortunately he was facing the best mass expanding zerg in the world, and at no point was even near even. Strelok had a strategically, theoretically won game against Mind and lost because of poor planning / minds awesome. That said since at the top level Z>P ... at least to some degree Nony faced what I consider the biggest handicap.... racial.
G5 got jewed, Bluestorm vs Nada is ... I mean common .... That map is hard for protoss on the pro level ......

I believe G5 picked Blue Storm.

Hey Artosis, the sound on the last ones are pretty bad. Really hard to hear. Would appreciate if you can fix it.
But thanks for the games. Loving each one!

Did Fenix play in the TSL ?

These games are just so damn exciting because I'm just waiting for that one brilliant moment when a foreigner manages to take down one of these Korean pros. I think the games have that extra tension to them even if the result is usually very predictable.
Artosis, I really enjoy your commentary especially with Daniel Lee. If you could somehow incorporate the same energy that Korean commentators have, you'd be the BEST! I don't know how good your audio equipment is though, so maybe screaming into the microphone won't be the healthiest thing for our ears =P

Well don't get your hopes up too high.. If they face a lower tier pro like Sea.Really, I could see a foreigner winning a game but I think watching mind come back vs strelok kinda proves to me that mind would prolly 10-0 strelok. with that said, I think strelok plays really really well considering he's not a progamer. fenix/castro/nony have been pretty impressive as well ^^

Energy? Please no. This is fine.
Anyway, the energy would be kind of pointless since these aren't huge matches with hundreds of thousands watching live.

actually very funny that you used Sea.Really as a "lower tier pro". hes actually massively respected in the pro scene right now and is expected to bust out big time very soon.
fun learning inside stuff ^.^;;

i think it's definitely better to stick to practice partners. watching a few of the foreigners get massacred by top tier pros wasn't really necessary, since everyone could have predicted the massacres that followed. foreigners have won games against the top tier pros before, but very very rarely have they even taken a game off them when there are stakes of any value. testie and mondie have managed to do it, and a few others.
i haven't read all of the rules for the spirit competition, so i apologize if this is broadly incorrect, but it appears that daniel lee's opinion of the foreigner player's ability or potential has significant weight, and they certainly stand a better chance of showing that potential by playing against korean practice partners, and players around that skill level. im certain regardless of which pro they're playing they'll be nervous, since i imagine every notable foreigner in this competition is familiar with a lot of the more 'unknown' pros, but at least they won't have the stress of facing a 3-time osl champion to deal with

Tell that girl commentator to quit saying Umm so much and just talk about the current plays and what to look for next. Artosis you do a great job, of course its hard for her to be as good.

Would it be possible to put future vids on Youtube? Streaming is still very choppy for me, and it's not possible to download or even wait for the videos to load

Yeah, or make lower bandwidth available! The site Says SCforall, but people with sucky connection like me have no chance of watching...

Oh my god, I can't express my love for the Daniel Lee / Artosis combination enough! Daniel Lee also has really nice vocabulary too, very unexpected and I hope he continues with you Artosis Great games!
You guys point out things I don't notice and it's really nice, as well, you and Daniel Lee give tips for practicing (practice on certain things first instead of mass gaming) and "scouting is impertinent", have "white dots all around the map" etc, thanks so much!
The only thing I can say is that everytime something makes a loud noise (siege tank firing, dragoon firing/dying) the audio gets very wacky, the sound of commentators decreases and it's hard to hear stuff. Otherwise, I'm loving it!!!
