You think that was the case? Whatever reason Baezzi had, YouTube section of sc games became quiet for some time. Now I miss what he was doing, it was a lot of work put there. Thanks for previous uploads, I watched almost all of them. If you reconsider, that would be cool.

as much as i love yakii - Baezzi was the man behind the machine. He is as responsible for the interest in progaming today as tl is imo. Without him and his youtube uploads - sc may have suffered a serious decline...

man this has really put into perspective that it is so much more easy to destroy than to create.
PGT was such a good system, then some ass had to hack it and so the creators who worked so hard for nothing in return just gave up.
Baezzi works so hard to upload videos and keep the not-so-hardcore community up to date, yet these ignorant people still need to whine and bitch about it, ultimately killing another person who gave so much and craved nothing in return.
Really makes me think what the world has come to, and I hope Blizzard pays attention here.
Do NOT cater to these assholes who know nothing, have no passion, just looking for a quick cheap thrill, selfish bastards. They are the ones who want MBS and all that crap. Look at what they have done. They have destroyed something so heartwarming and left us with less and less.
To Baezzi: I have always taken notice of how fast you are when uploading. Time and time again when I talk to my friends and I say where to download vod they say "its on youtube already" and I think to myself "Wow that was so fast" and time and time again its the same uploader: you.
I would like to give you my heartfelt thanks. That in the face of having no promise of any reward you still prevailed. Despite such ignorant fuckers giving you so much crap, you still prevailed. It works only if you were a Director in the past. Directors now can't upload a video over 10 minutes or something like that.

I have been following Korean Starcraft Pro Scene since around the time Savior started his domination. Back than, we had posters on youtube such as wifebeater, violotak and Jon747 original user posting VODS for us the viewers to enjoy. But slowly, these posters started to post less and less content as time went by. It was sad when violotek announced that he wasn't posting consistently anymore. I do not even remember when the last time wifebeater account posted a vod (on a sidenote, the greatest things about the wifebeater video posts were the fact that it included whole Bo3's in one youtube video).
In this darkness where we the crowd was living in a dark corner in the realm of following pro starcraft gaming, none other than baezzi rose. His original account did not have the option of posting videos longer than 10 minutes, but he still endured. He was posting videos with multiple parts, sometimes many as 5 just for us to enjoy. He was also one of the speediest fellows when it came to uploading the most up to date content. When he inherited the Jon747 account, watching VODs for fans abroad was like nothing we have ever experienced. It "revolutionized" how regular fans like me enjoyed the pro scene.
Baezzi was uploading whole Bo5 and whatever games the very next day. You would come on this website and view the results from the previous night tournaments. In 5-10 hours, Baezzi would already have the whole thing uploaded on youtube for the masses. This proleague final, he had it up in record time. At work, I was able to read the results from the games and directly go to the youtube videos Baezzi has courteously uploaded. I remember back in the So1 OSL where I would have to 2-3 days before being able to download them on Korean file sharing servers. This was such a huge improvement I don't think any of us will be able to experience something so convenient ever again.
I thank baezzi and all the other video posters who have come and gone in contributing to the korean pro starcraft scene. All of you have tirelessly and consistently posted vods for EVERYONE to enjoy at the expense of your time and your bandwith Hopefully someone new or old will come and step up to this big plate that baezzi has left behind for us
This is the saddest day for all starcraft e-sports fans across the world....

BaeZZi was amazing. Since he started, he uploaded EVERY televised pro game - nearly 3,000 youtube videos.
A few of us youtubers would upload videos sometimes, but no one had the links to the same vods or determination to upload so regularly.

i don't understand why anyone would hate on the uploader. if i missed a match and wanted to watch it shortly after, more often than not it was already uploaded and i was like "OMG yes!" but if it wasn't i was like "ah damn.." and waited until the next day. i don't see why there would be any need whatsoever to abuse to uploader. this is really disappointing to hear...

I remember reading somewhere where he told people to stop requesting for uploads before. He's doing so much work as it is, so it's understandable that something like this could be the final straw. I tried uploading a fraction of the amount of VODs he did and realized it's a ton of work. I can only imagine how much time he put into uploading pretty much every game.

I don't think I ever watched his vod's or I did and didn't take any notice of the uploader ( I don't really care to be honest ). I do however appreciate that someone has taken the time to do it. I'll say thanks where possible.

If you watched any recent VODS, it was all Baezzi. He has uploaded thousands of videos using so much of his time for nothing in return. And yet there are some idiots who find it funny to make stupid comments, depreciating his efforts as well as killing part of the starcraft world. If I worked on just one video for hours (let alone work continuously for over a year on thousands of videos) and I got a comment that attacks my efforts I would blow up too.

May this hopefully be a temporary solution to your VOD watching needs. I will soon have the Nada-Mind series up, but just a question, what other games would you guys like to see that have happenned inbetween this series and the last thing Baezzi uploaded?
Also, realize that the first VODs won't be up for a little while, since I'm going to sleep and the convertor may screw up. Besides that, unless the converter actually picks up on the audio (that Windows Media Classic didn't, but KMPlayer did), then the VODs may not have audio. However, hopefully everything goes well and in around 8 hours Nada vs. Mind will be available for viewing.

Second of all, Teamliquid needs to decide where it wants to stand. In one of the GSI threads Baezzi was asked, or people were asked to tell him, to not upload the GSI videos. Is he not doing exactly what TL wanted him to do?
TL staff may want to make up its mind about VODS/Youtube/Tracker and its views on uploading content originally owned by Korean TV-channels in general.
I understand the wish to support Tasteless and English commentary. But does this mean we do not support the other channels? And if we do support all channels (I assume we do), will the rules for discussing games and uploading content be similar for all some day?

Huuuuuuuge difference between OGN games (which are more or less impossible for non-koreans to watch as you have to be able to read/be korean to create an account, then pay for it) and GomTV (where the games are available for free, all the time, in english).

Where are people getting this idea that BaeZZi stopped uploading for good?
He posted on his youtube account he wouldn't be uploading GSI vods which are available at GOM TV's site anyway. He didn't post anything about quitting for good unless I'm missing something. Please direct me to additional info.

Kim Koo is such an asshole.
How people use their free time is none of his business. A lot of us don't even play SC anymore, but love to watch the professionals on occasion. Baezzi made this option available to many of us, and we loved it. Personally I live on a college campus. Here they have a network set up that prevents me from downloading torrents. I could still get Youtube, but now I have little access to the progaming videos.

If I ever meet you in real life this is what I would do.
I would find your mother, your father and any siblings you have, and torture them to death, in front of you.
First I'll clamp down their hands so they can't move a finger. Then I'll stick toothpicks under their fingernails, I'll make extra sure that I twist and turn each toothpick very nicely. Then I will take a knife, and cut off their fingers, 1 joint at a time. I will be using a glowing hot piece of metal to sear the wound to stop the bleeding. I will then take a pistol and shoot them in the stomach, making sure to aim at least 1 bullet at their bile duct since this is one of the most painful places to get shot and takes a long time for the victim to die. In the end I will place a plastic bag over their heads and they will slowly suffocate to death.
