We recently banned a cheater (rigged maps) from this site, and it was a big scanadal and everything, and your name is similar to his.  I doubt even him is that stupid as to create a new account with almost the same name though. I just though I'd prepare you. So if people go "SHADOW RUSH!!!!" or "PRESSURE!!!" when you play they are referning to this cheater. And if you win, expect people to watch your reps very closely. That said: Welcome to Clan Art! We are currently experimenting with different ways of getting in contact with each other to get games, so we should set up an irc channel as well. Do you think you could do it? There are 9 servers up: Clan Art 1 Clan Art 2 . . . Clan Art 9 All with password: liquid Rules for these Servers. 1) Stay in the server ONLY when you want to play broodwar! 2) LEAVE the network when you're done playing. DONT just go offline. just rightclick the server name and "leave network". 3) When you are about to enter a game, change your status to "busy". Change back when you've done playing. Press the gear button down right --> preferences --> Precence --> enable, then use the paw button down right to change status. 4) NEVER stay in more than 3 (three) servers at once. Otherwise everyone would just enter every server and we would still only have space for 20 persons... 3 servers should be more than enough to find a game considering that everyone online want to play.  If all 9 servers gets filled up we'll just create more.I'll kick everyone that I see offline. Except me. I would leave the servers when offline to leave space for others, but the creator can't leave the server. :/ I don't want to make this a kickable offence just yet, but if you're mannered, you'll leave all networks except the one you'll play on when starting to play a (series of) game(s). Do you guys think this set of rules will work out well? any opinions? Does the rules need tweaking? EDIT: wrote the wrong server names. Anyways, now that I figured out why I couldn't join the servers I have another question: How do you talk to people on the server? I'm completely new to the whole hamachi thing so... yeah. I dunno what the hell I'm doing on it yet. | ||
