we have like a million people but with 5 hamachi channels its impossible to get together
people start going on bnet more and you can set up a game with someone on hamachi through bnet's chat?

I have no idea how to set it up, I tried several bots (including StealthBot when haji recommended it to me) and they all fail for me

And I seriously want to try Listchecker for this; if we can get quality lag-free games on B.Net then I think it'll be easier to do LC than Hamachi -_-

It would be great to get activity going on bnet as well! Let's start with something easy and just set up a channel. I'd suggest a more intuitive channel name like "op Clan Art", but that isnt very important.
Pressure, could you contact those people and ask them to set it up? since you have the experience.

There is a lot of activity on the hamachi servers now, so it more important than ever that you

LEAVE the server when you are done playing! NOT go offline, or WORSE: idle while online
Just rightclick the servername and go "leave network". So DONT just quit the program.

You are helping yourself by doing that, since more people will enter the channel and you have abigger chance of finding good games next time around. Let me also copy down the other rules:

There are 9 servers up:

Clan Art 1
Clan Art 2
.
.
.
Clan Art 9

All with password: liquid

Rules for these Servers.

1) Stay in the server ONLY when you want to play broodwar!

2) LEAVE the network when you're done playing. DONT just go offline.
just rightclick the server name and "leave network".

3) When you are about to enter a game, let the other know that you're playing.
Change your status to custom: "playing" or something similar. You can turn that on by:
wheel button down right --> preferences --> precence --> enable
then paw down right --> custom --> type in your status

4) NEVER stay in more than 3 (three) servers at once.
Otherwise everyone would just enter every server and we would still only have space for 16 persons... 3 servers should be more than enough to find a game considering that everyone online want to play. If all 9 servers gets filled up we'll just create more.

I'll kick everyone that I see offline.
I don't want to make this a kickable offence just yet, but if you're mannered, you'll leave all networks except the one you'll play on when starting to play a (series of) game(s).

hmm, that's strange.

I've set the it so that memebers and users awaiting validation can reply in the member list. That was a few days ago, but I've told it to force update the settings now. Please post your info in the members list now. I've just validated you, so it should be fine now.

Could you control the subforums and correct if you find anything wrong? You shouldn't come with ideas, it'll only give you more work!

And regarding the bnet channel: I was thinking like this.

op tl-west: a place for tlers to meet and play sc on bnet.
op clanart: a place for tlers to meet and play sc on bnet.

I may be missing something here, but why dont we simply invade op tl-west? The channel is for meeting and playing right? It'd be cool with plenty of Art.name activity at op tl-west, and we even have this cool link to who is online up right on this page. Feedback plz.
