A couple of years ago I was worrying about them retiring one by one because of age, marriage, kids, focusing on other businesses, losing motivation etc. but as it turns out, none of them have actually retired. In fact we have more people coming back now. Effort, Bisu, Stork, Rain, even Fantasy although only for 1 tournament. Even Larva and Last are still playing regularly, just not competitively. | ||

He probably still has the same good reasons to quit streaming SC, but he felt the things that held him back from doing so much stronger after he actually tried to step away from it. Even more so if he actually made it as a hasty decision because of one (more) hurting loss, without a clear exit strategy. Hope he can make up his mind over time and maybe adjust in some way to make it less uncomfortable for him. | ||

Nobody ever completely retires from playing a game they dedicated so much of their life to. They might not compete in many tournaments anymore, but they'll still play the game. Ie. I played competitive SSBM for 6+ years, and while I don't compete in tournaments anymore, I still play the game from time to time | ||
