GOM Guide - IntoTheMSL and other MBCGame Shows

I just realized that IntoTheMSL and other non-league MBCGame shows are streamable on GOM Player. Since these shows are normally a pain in the ass to find and watch, I made a quick guide.

Step 0

If you don't have the GOM TV button, you need to install the Korean version of GOM TV. Check out this thread by yakii.

If you don't have the GOM TV sidebar up, click the "GOM TV" button at the bottom right, or hit F9.

If you ever get lost in the GOM TV menus, hit the home button (third button at the top, looks like a house).

Step 1

Scroll down to the channel list, and click MBC게임오락 (CH.402) under the 게임 (game) section.

For league VODs, choose MBC게임리그 (CH.401) instead.

Alternately, just type the channel number in the search box:

Step 2

Choose the show to watch. Someone awesome will surely explain what each of these shows is about in this thread.

Time for some FPVOD hotness. Wait.. who's that on the right?

Step 3

Choose an episode. The pictures aren't always the player whose POV it is, so it's best to check the Korean name against TLPD if you're looking for someone in particular.

Yay, it's July!

Step 4

Hit the pretty green button.

Almost there. July rocks!

Step 5

Sit through two weird commercials, and you're on your way.

Actually, you dont need the korean gom anymore. HiTexas explains how to use the english version here.

Useful for changing settings etc. GomTv is still in korean however.

99% sure they are stream only. (otherwise it would be a conflict of interest with mbcgame's vod sales through their website)

but I guess you can check, since you can read hangul (sorta) right?

I tried that, but when I click the green button, it plays a commercial and after it finishes, the sound restarts for the 1st commercial and it just keeps looping over and over.

Quality is the same as the lower quality live stream.

Yeah, stream only. I'm not sure who you were talking to though. =P

Hm.. could be a codec issue. Try reinstalling GOM? (it installs all the codecs it needs).

I've tried both re-installing the korean player and even tried the english player.The korean player can play live streams of BW, but anything else it plays one commercial and just loops. Not sure what else to try :/

for ogn broadcasts you need the daum player. gomplayer is for mbc broadcasts only.
