Brood War Beta Gate - Page 4

I just got SC1 and BW beta and the Beta gate, but I can't get it working. The game is working fine, but is only for battle.net and to get connected it needs a server eh. In previous post it says the gate is offline. Is there a way to create your own beta server and log into it, modify files to change the beta gate program...or whatever idea someone has to make it works? I really want to play the beta to explore all those past units, bugs, and whatever else I could find. I know this thread is old, but I think it's better than creating a new one on the same topic. Thank for the help =D Edit: Maybe there is a way to use the Starcraft Demo battle.net that is still working? | ||

 But a great thank! Just asking, would that be similar for a custom server for Starcraft complete version? Even though this would be stupid because of LAN + Hamachi. | ||

also, i tried using beta gate and i got an unable to initialize error. no luck with other gateways or specific server IPs either. | ||
