2020 ffs.. I just hope that old VODs will not be deleted or anything.. or the old YT channel. The OGN may be gone but the history needs to live! All the fantastic memories over the years.. Great times, indeed.

For a few years from 2006 I watched every single game including qualifications and the proleague. The news about Blizzard and SC2 killing BW got me so depressed I couldn't even watch the last real OSL in 2011 with JangBi and Fantasy. Maybe it's finally time to look up the finals ![]() last BW OSL was in 2012 and yes, it was a real OSL

I would leave the stream on in the background when matches weren't playing and it never failed to amaze me what kind of variety shows Korea could come up with for Starcraft. There was plenty of dedicated Starcraft content at that time. When I saw this thread I knew I had to post in it. Seemed inevitable with the popularity of streaming, but still very sad nonetheless ![]()

Yes from a business standpoint I understand why game companies did it in house. But OGN set a freaking gold standard. Nothing can replace what the Korean producers in BW did .

Of course, the closest that came to reality were the SSL ones, which were of course, broadcasted by OGN. EVER 2007 > All the anime OPs in the world
