Yeah, the way he kept running forward with a few goons in the open, with no vision of snow's army, almost losing them one by one was hard to watch. I get that he wanted to scout where snow's army is and the number of his goons, but that's an easy way to lose all your goons. At best, you can run them forward a bit, and then back to get the trailing fog of war vision to see any incoming units.
I haven't seen many games where he plays protoss, so it's probably too early to judge about his level, but that one thing is kinda basic.

I think the true value in this translation is in revealing just how little our commentators know about what is actually going on.
"Oh Flash going for 5 fact push...OK Flash with good maneuvering...OK Flash takes the fight....OK GG!"

Yeah but that's true in almost any sport and any commentator.
There are very few exceptions (ex: Tony Romo and American Football), so much so that when it does happen, fans truly take notice.

Of course random is more impressive. It's not even close.

But when you random, a third of the time you get to play Terran. When you choose Protoss, you never get to play Terran.

But hell no, I wanna see him squashing noobs even when he hits 40. While that would be awesome, I worry that if he wins an ASL with random he will just retire. He's done everything up to this point and now this is the ultimate challenge, if he wins this challenge what's left for him? Win with P then win with Z :D
But in all seriousness, I don't think he'd retire if he wins, I think he'd just continue playing random. He looks like he's having a lot of fun and is reinvigorated.. i don't think you retire when you feel that
