We're looking to set up a 1v1 or 2v2 tQ (cash prize) show match right now, if possible. We have hosted several show matches already, featuring players mainly from US West, including our own members (see, for example: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGlRD7iaqt-KHNc_t_hOE6g ). We try to aim for one a day.
I created a thread about our show match series on this forum recently. For details about how our events work, please check out my earlier post: https://tl.net/forum/brood-war/561318-team-think-quick-prize-show-match-series
The reason I am posting about this again is because I want to try to see if I could use the forum here to organize some show matches spontaneously instead of relying on my own networks to do that. I would basically need some replies from good players who are available to participate in a best-of-five show match event, which will be streamed and casted by our amateur but fun management team. The twitch account that streams our events is: https://www.twitch.tv/primaonettv (please follow so you know when they are occurring, and so you could contact us to participate in a future show match).
The prizes are $10 USD for each winner of a 1v1 show match and $10 USD for each ally on the winning team of a 2v2 show match (so $20 USD for the winning team, split equally). These details are provided in my earlier post as well. Payments made via PayPal.
We could try to do a 1v1 or 2v2 show match right now, depending on who is available. Again, we are looking for good players to participate, so if you are interested and available right now, please respond to this post on this thread, or join our discord channel: https://discord.gg/ywgCyAY and get in touch with us. We are also usually in the channel: op [tQ] on US West as well. Please mention if you are a 1v1 or 2v2 player or both and any important qualifications or achievements please (e.g., ladder rank or tourney result).
Again this way of setting up a show match might not work, but if it does, then perhaps we could try to organize more of our cash prize events this way. Players from different servers are welcome to reply, but I'm not sure how the lagg will work out, especially for a 2v2 event. Nevertheless, this is something I would like to experiment with. Fingers crossed.
