I had no idea this was intentional. I don't think I agree though. There is skill involved in both executing and defending a cheese strategy. Allin strategies are a valid part of the game, and allowing players to mulligan these games is imposing a personal bias into them. Also, players not directly involved in the rush still have just as much impact on the result of the game. How did the remaining players respond to the cheese. Did they sit around passively or aggressively punish the cheesing player? Did the teammates of the cheeser assist the rush or not? Did the cheesing player make proper defenses against a counter or not? A game doesn't just end with whether the cheesing player was successful or not. Implicitly allowing players to mulligan cheesy games is similar in spirit to changing the official map to remove cliffs or adjust spawn positions etc. I don't think most players would agree with this. I didn't even know that the 3 minute rule was intentionally set as such to allow players to mulligan these kinds of games.
In any statistical model the quality of prediction is always related to noisiness of the data. In my opinion MMR establishing algorithm just doesn't benefit from outcomes of those kinds of games.
That's it. I don't discourage or encourage players to use those tactics. You can still play them. You can still enjoy them. They are still counted as win or lose by Battle.net, and they are still valid games. I often don't leave games like that, knowing they are not counted.
But what I need for establishing a good MMR score of players are games that contain information about how the combined skills of players on both teams compare. And I think that those game bring more random noise than valuable information.

After 4 matches with the bot you get the rank - like A,B,E or S. Then you can join "4 ranked" games.
"+20 wins" games are for everyone with at least 20 wins in custom games.

Hi. I'd like to report a bug in match from 2020-11-29, 15:45. My team (me, LOoP and Cs 135) won, but the bot scored this match as our defeat!
Please analyze the bot's behavior and correct the match result.

Today player "ebla" is saying all the time "ebla: pay money to be obs" at the lobby, and idk if that makes that bot dont start the game, so after a while people is leaving all the time because they see that ebla just want to boycott the game.
You can see that on game from bot1 today 29/11 at 20:50

I'm here to report the same issue Sheraph just talked about. There's a player called ebla joining the game and spamming the chat. This player is also notorious for killing allies, so no wonder why people just leave the game as they see him. the bot is useless as long as this player isn't banned.
I also take the chance to thank you for the bot, i've always been a big fan of it !
So please autoban this ebla player who is notoriously disruptive for the sc community and get the bot up and running again !

Thanks for report. There indeed was error. I think I've fixed this. I still have to make a script for reverting this wrong result, but it will be fixed.

Yes, I banned ebla but I've made a typo in his name so it didn't work. Sorry for this, should be fixed now.
BTW Bot starts banning when banned player can't change teams i.e. when other team is full so if bans don't happen right away please be patient.

If you see him, be prepared for a cannon rush with forge blocking the cannons. If it works, he goes carriers. If it doesnt, he leaves. Makes for really fun games...
I think the bot works really good now. Teams are always even and the games are great. This is the only bgh I play nowadays.
Edit: Ebla is an asshole.

- get a whisper after the game showing your stats and how much points you've won or lost
- a command to reset your stats
- % win ratio and most played race on the leaderboard

There's a new #1 on the ladder, Sovani! He streams on twitch under the name Azhi_Dahaki if anyone here is interested. I watch him regularly and pointed him to this ladder a few weeks ago because I knew he was really good and wanted to see how high he could get. His goal is to reach 4k mmr. Will this motivate Drone to try and reclaim #1? Hopefully this sparks a friendly rivalry.

Added win ratio to main page. Races require more work but I'll try to add them later.
Whisper after match is a good idea but I'm not a fun of players resetting their stats.

Very cool stream. Getting over 4000MMR is beyond science, but he managed to get there.

I'm not a fan of players resetting their stats.
iCCup has this /clearstats YES command which is only allowed once a month, it works fine like that.

Iccup is an individual league though. This is supposed to create balanced games. People being unhappy with their stats or rating and resetting for this reason, will make them seem like worse players than they are, creating imbalanced games after reset. So I'm not a fan of that either.

Once a month though. This shouldn't get out of hands.
Also I think that it can reduce players tendency to "quit" because they are unhappy with their stats, having the opportunity to start fresh, therefore having an healthier player pool.
