nothing yet, outside of those used for wildcard.
also before someone asks, I don't know why Larva is not included in the wildcard match, nothing has been said about it yet.
I believe he's not playing in ASL6 at all. I think he said it's "too much stress" or something like this and is just opting out of it.
I played him on ladder actually and asked him why he's not in ASL6 and that's how he responded to me before anyone starts saying "WHERE'S YOUR SOURCE, MAN?"

Not really surprising since we knew that hero will leave after ASL5 and it's always the other 4 players that get a chance in the wildcard.

That's a shame, but considering he has a kid and stuff it's understandable. I'm sure it gets tiring practicing that hard and competing.
There has been so much Brood War to watch lately, it's really the shit.

damn. hope he's feeling ok and that if he does indeed take a rest that he comes back strong. We'll miss him.
lol flash gonna get his seed anyway. I hope larva has a change of heart and participates, ASL without hero and larva and possibly effort (or so I hear) is a big blow to the zerg presence

Maybe he was referring to the fact that Flash has been playing quite a lot of protoss, I think it was after ASL3 he said he was going to switch? He didn't, but he has an account that got top 15 with protoss on the ladder, not sure where it is now
I never thought i would be so excited for Starcraft! Before 2017, i never really followed these tournaments, just watched some stuff random. After 2017, especially hearing about ASL tournaments and the upcoming remastered game, all went bananas, i can't live without this! Like Artosis said ''something is very wrong with your life if you don't follow Starcraft Brood War''...
I just hope there will be no more audio lags in Afreeca channel. We had plenty of that!
i only just realised that the wild card map pool is match point/gladiator/circuit breaker/fighting spirit yet the offline qualifiers are blue storm/fighting spirit/circuit breaker.
also it appears that the actual asl s6 map pool will be neo transistor, two of either sylphide/labyrinth/autobahn and as of yet unnamed map.
i know it's very minor, but having a bit of map pool consistency would be nice.

Err.. isn't Larva the only one not playing due to pressure?
And anyways, even with his wrist problems, Jaedong seems to be the best Zerg right now. I could even see him winning the KSL if he isn't eliminated by Light.

hero off to military. Larva and EffOrt out almost for sure. Jaedong out but could change his mind last I checked which leaves Soulkey, Shine and Miso.

As much as I like Jaedong, I don't think there is any doubt that Soulkey is the best zerg at the moment.

Two months ago I would've agreed with that for sure. Jaedong was looking not good, and with his wrist problems, it didn't seem like there was any hope.
But if you've been following his stream half as much as I have been, then you would agree that Jaedong going 3-0 against Shuttle in less than an hour was no fluke. His ZvP is by far the best and I'm very confident that no Protoss can beat him in a bo5 or even bo3.
His ZvZ seems to be a huge weak point these days, but the good news for him is that there's almost no Zergs besides him.
The only thing for Jaedong to worry about is ZvT. It's definitely not a weak point for him, but Light is very good in TvZ. If he manages to make it past Light, I honestly he's got a very good chance to win the whole tournament.

Haha that would be so brutal for 3 way ties; could potentially go on for days--though I don't see Flash losing to either Mind or Shuttle in either Bo5 or Bo3.
lmao Flash just cleans that last doom drop with scvs and some vultures/mines, the amount of things he kills with scvs, he just turns on the 'attacking units' and citizens arrests them down, dragoons, tanks, reavers, the man is crazy
Jesus Im surprised Flash didnt manner CC there with all the bases he was taking at the top of the map. He was 7 bases vs Shuttle’s 3 at the end. Damn poor Shuttle that procy fact from FlaSh was genius. Cheddar Terran is back.
It's like Flash goes to another level entirely when he plays his official matches... I see him do a lot of things that I don't see him do much in his practice matches or on his stream. He's like a Mozart or a Newton, except one that plays Humans vs Aliens in a digital world.
On August 14 2018 17:44 jjmmtt wrote: Take notes Mind, that's what that push is supposed to look like
the difference was just seconds, on the game vs Mind, Shuttle got to see the 4 tanks of Mind leaving the base with his 1st observer, so he was able to cancel his nexus... on the game vs FlaSh, the observer was off by a few centimeters and the nexus finished and FlaSh was able to punish fast 3rd.
Though I'd rather flash didn't get a seed spot (again) at least he doesn't have the winners exchange this time, so we might actually see a challenging group for him.

Apparently he's been recently diagnosed with depression. So yeah, that sucks.
