Somehow, Flash taking an interest in drums, thinking they're the easiest even, is what I'd expect. I perceive percussions as emphasizing mechanics more while strings are more expressive (pianos and co. would be intermediaries I suppose). Annual foreign tournament gogo. We can show that BW is alive even outside of Korea and it'll serve as a vacation for them so they're not stuck streaming in their house all day. ![]()

Not to mention that imo, drums require the most multitasking. So yeah, quite fitting

I also I giggled a bit how Flash was the only one to answer the question about the music band and then continued to pick the drums because they seem in his opinion the most easy to play. edit: Big thank you for doing this. Very nice idea and result. I liked the interviews a lot.

This was a formal interview so of course he was being polite. What he was really thinking was: "I guess that will do"

Bisu the romanticist, Flash the frank and straight-forward, JD the hungry, but appreciative competitor, Stork the older, likeable fogey. Haha, so true. Stork's definitely the one giving the wise answers. :D On January 19 2017 18:11 valas991 wrote: Show nested quote + On January 19 2017 18:07 LittLeLives wrote: When they all answer side-by-side like this, you can really appreciate how unique their personalities are. This could be seen in how they handled drops they were ill-prepared for (or other surprises). Jaedong and Bisu both seemed ahead of Flash in terms of multitasking while Flash excelled at reading the game on the fly and preparing accordingly.

Yeah I remember Flash once commented that one of his eureka moments was that it was infinitely better for him to focus on the most impt and critical parts when playing instead of putting in the same amount of effort on everything he needed to do or trying to do everything perfectly. That is why flash can either have the best terran micro in the world or just average micro at a given moment. I do think this style/thinking is what is best for terran.

I don't think many new players are playing BW tbh and that's not good for the future of the game but right now BW is #5 popular in PC Bangs so we will see. Also I wonder if the HD remaster is a real thing or not. I don't think Blizzard is interested in investing money in BW since there is no revenue there. They only promote their new games. No money in creating a HD version of BW? If they sell it as a seperate game like aoe2 hd there's a lot of money in it. Thanks for the great interview.

That's true, and i feel like there would be a lot of nostalgia sales based off of that alone. I mean, I picked up AOE HD, and have played it a bit, but not nearly as much as the original games. That interview was absolutely fantastic
