Thats 85.000 Hours. Thats 3.541,666 Days. Thats 9,7 Years.
Now supposing you need 8 hours of sleep and you work 8 (+1 hour travel to work on a daily basis) hours from Monday to Tuesday.....
You dont get the full 168 hours a week, but 72!
So 72 hours a week*52 weeks in a year: 3744 Hours a year (funny when I consider my Steam says i played over 2000 hours of my favorite games last year).
So, 85.000 hours divided by 3744 hours a year:
22,7 years of watching broodwar replays.
Im 32, so Ill be done when I am 54.
I might get Alzheimers by then, forget I watched them all and Start all over again!
When all you do is watch BW all day every day, you can probably get by with less than 8 hours of work per day
edit: oh, the thread was necro'd. Well, point still stands.

Uh oh . Where am I going to find reps now ><

is there any other website to upload reps?

i'm glad i got the old replays i wanted before the site expired

Seems like it's just the domain that expired, and the server is still running. If you add the IP to your hosts file, you can access it and browse/download reps.
To do that, open C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts in notepad or another text editor and add a line at the end that says:
195.154.77.147 bwreplays.com
Save it, then retry the site in your browser. (To revert this, you can just delete that line from the file and save it again)
Not sure how long the server will stay up, given that the domain was left to expire, but you can at least extract what you want for now.

bwreplays.com is running again

Are there old pro replays on the site too?
|
Awesome, just what I was looking for. Thanks

Ok, thanks god everything is all right.

It looks like if a replay has a pro, that pro's name is bolded. The site also looks like it has a bunch of useful ways to filter the replays, such as by matchup or player. Is there a way to filter the replays to only pro matches, or replays where both players have bolded names?

There was a problem with uploading replays for some time and now it has been fixed.

The bolded names are just players with the known account names to the site. There should be crowdsourced and moderated name submission to the bwreplays.com known player's list to keep it up to date so that you can rely on it.
You can filter known players by adding ?known=1 at the end of site's url http://bwreplays.com/?known=1 This will show matches if there's at least one known player in there. But keep in mind that you'll miss out a bunch (or all) of wanted games using that
For example Bonyth aka NW.Bonyth is using now [SK]Bonyth and [ReD]Bonyth that are not shown bolded today. I think these should be added soon, but there are many others.
