 That said, when we get closer to a final product, say with an official ladder and players battling it out for first place, that will be a lot more interesting. Especially since not every freaking game will be on Fighting Spirit. | ||

Have you ever thought that maybe being "in" has nothing to do with it at this point and that being "new school" has nothing to do with it and neither does ICCup skill, and perhaps people are selected by a metric that is beyond your or their control? Like, say, a handful of people running older Windows 7 configurations with old graphics cards, some people running modern cards with Windows 10, some people running Windows XP and some 98 on some old machines? Or are you really too busy bitching and boasting to formulate any critical thoughts of your own whatsoever? Maybe your attitude has a part to play in your not being the #1 draft pick for Team SB)? Or is it because you can't operate a bot in there yet from which you will claim some sort of value and therefore you have no use there? What is your graphics card 2. What is your CPU/RAM/something along these lines 3. What is your operating system Questions it did not include were: 1. How long have you played Brood War 2. How important you feel 3. What your max rank on ICCup is 4. What Korean clans you've claimed to be a part of 5. How badly do you want to be a part of this beta 6. How many posts have you made in the thread begging for access or whining because you didn't get it Wow, would you look at that. | ||

I'm just standing for what I believe in, which is namely that the people who provide us with content as a product of their own grueling efforts should deserve some respect and courtesy. People in this thread have lined up like beggars outside a bank machine, demanding certain things as if it was their biweekly paycheck, people in other threads have talked shit about deadlines not being met and the people that graciously provide a service to the community of which they are a part of. By posting against these entitled individuals I hope for nothing more than to show the people that continuously provide to the community of which I am a part of that their contributions are not in vain and that they are not only met with a vocal minority that feels it necessary to question and judge the manner in which content in provided. I have never posted that I desperately want to be in the beta, that I desperately hope someone else shouldn't be in the beta because I am somehow more qualified than them, nor have I ever judged the people who are doing this FOR me and us as a whole for the manner in which they provide these priceless things, whether it be tournaments or servers or whatnot. So please, do not compare me to Telecom in this manner.
