Somebody should tell them about the money prize and that LemOn is playing there. There would be masses of them once again, without them the ladder is just... boring

I mean, there's a huge chance TL.net ladder won't even get off the ground, and abyss is active RIGHT NOW; it's not uncommon to see 50+ people in the channel.

There are just not that many active bw players any more, and a successful ladder needs 100+ people looking for games at any time. That's just not really feasible at the moment, which is why we should all be working together to get a huge ladder going. Then we will just have to make sure ours is the best.

The whole idea of "let's get everyone together to work on one big awesome ladder" is flawed. There are several different philosophies for running a ladder, several different major ideas about a ladder that people want to pursue. By making so many separate ladders, everyone is working together in the way that the entire SC community is causing all these different ideas to be pursued. That is, we're naturally splitting up to each pursue our own ideas and put them out there for the judgement of the community. Nobody knows what is best, so we're getting a good taste of everything. A year from now, most likely only one strong ladder will have survived and the community can draw itself together to support it. Until then, I think that what is going on now is great.

Thank you so much for making a TL ladder and putting in so much time to make this community better. That being said, is the TL ladder going to be automatic like PGT or we'll need to manually report games and such? And if you tell me are you gonna have to kill me? ![]()
