EPTThe mappack is ordered by year, there is one folder for each year between 1999 and 2016. If maps were played over multiple seasons they will be duplicated in each folder (for example you can find "Return of the King" in the 2008, 2009, 2014 and 2015 folder. For most maps there is a normal and an ob version and for a lot of them there is a tr version as well. In the folder is also a txt file which shows which maps were played in what year, so if you want to find a specific map you can CTRL+F it there.
I used Liquipedia as my source for the infos. The primary source for maps was Chef's mappack (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/brood-war/224789-most-comprehensive-pro-maps-pack?page=4) which I rearranged by year. Some missing maps and newer maps come from Iccup, TLPD, broodwarmaps.net and scmaps.net.
