You don't become a God without knowing the ins and outs of every race, timings, tactics, builds, sim cities, etc. Being amazing at your main race or a particular matchup helps off-racing by a huge margin because knowing what kind of stuff little micro tricks or strats that beat you is really helpful. With so much money on the line and high stake in tournaments, it's imperative to learn these things, and it makes you become good at other races in the process. That being said, I do believe back in the KeSPA era they off-raced quite a bit for stuff like this. | ||
