this is an article titled "why savior won't be boxer" I'm going to summarize it, I thought it was pretty interesting. [일간스포츠 박명기] 바야흐로 ‘마재윤 천하’다. “마재윤(CJ)에겐 한 손만 사용하게 해야 하는 핸디캡을 줘야 한다”는 농담이 나올 정도니 적어도 앞으로 1년간은 마재윤이 패배했다는 말이 들리지 않을지도 모른다. There is a joke that savior should be given the handicap of only playing with 1 hand, however we don't know if we will hear that savior lost in the year to come. 마재윤은 지난 24일 신한은행 스타리그 시즌3 결승전에서 이윤열(팬택)을 꺾고 생애 최초 스타리그 우승을 거머쥐었다. 지난해 상금만으로 e스포츠 사상 최초로 1억원(1억 50만원)을 돌파한 그는 이번에 4000만원을 챙겨 다음달 3일 열리는 MSL 결승에서 승리해 3000만원을 추가한다면 올 1분기 안에 연봉 1억여 원 외에 가외로 7000만원 가까운 돈을 손에 쥐게 된다. So fans cheered his games and all thought he was genius. 하지만 마재윤은 테란이든 프로토스든 물량-정찰-기동력 등 완벽한 대비 끝에 확실한 멀티 태스킹으로 승리를 따내는 정석 플레이어다. 문제는 이기긴 이기는데 재미가 없고 감동이 없다는 것이다. 경기 후에도 마재윤은 무슨 답변을 해야 할지 전혀 준비가 없는 스타일이다. 그의 유명한 단답형 답변에 팬은 물론 기자들도 흥미를 잃어갈 지경이다. However savior is the kind of progamar that counters all terran or protoss with macro, reconassiance, movement, perfect preparation and wins with multitasking. The problem is that even though he wins, it doesn't seem fun. There is a difference between people who are talented and give memorable performances, and those who are skilled. 팬들은 오랜만에 탄생한 <스타크래프트>의 지존 마재윤에 대해 단지 ‘게임을 잘하는 프로게이머’가 아니라 임요환 같은 대스타가 되기를 기대하고 있다. 그러려면 미디어 트레이닝은 물론 저그 종족이라는 한계는 있지만 병력을 몰아쳐 ‘쌈싸먹기’를 하는 박성준(MBC게임)이나 뛰어난 운영 능력으로 팬을 사로잡는 박태민(SKT) 같은 개성적인 플레이로 자신의 트레이드 마크를 개발할 필요가 있다. Fans are not just waiting for a player to be very skilled, they want a great star like boxer. To be a star you need a trademark like july, who controls and fights with few units, or gorush a master of management. 마재윤은 팀내 랜덤 경기에서 테란을 잡아도 결코 지지 않는다고 할 만큼 <스타크래프트>의 최고 실력자다. 그의 전성기가 활짝 열린 가운데 그가 ‘단지 플레이만 잘하는 선수’로만 기억된다면 이것은 분명 2007년 한국 e스포츠의 대재앙이 될 것이다. Especially on these ridiculous maps, I hope we see a new generation of zerg users ready to murder the fast expand to marine-tank-vessel producing, no creativity terran robots. | ||

In team random games, if Savior gets terran, his teammates say he never loses.He is the most skilled starcraft player. However in 2007 e-sports, we will see if he will be known as just a very skilled player or a very memorable star player. Really? He can never lose if he plays terran? For the amount of money he could win, why doesn't he just use terran then? | ||

25% tax on 200k makes it 150k, then half of that is 75k and that's assuming your "managers take 50%!!!" and assumptions about korean taxes are all correct | ||
