Watch out for Savior to get a huge contract once his current one runs out.
Also, why is Free[gm] being treated like a bitch? 6000 over a year? Thats 500 a month. He could make more washing cars I think. Seriously, there has to be a "minimum wage" system for starcraft pros. I suspect it would be good for new comers, encouraging them more etc. Maybe around 20,000/year.
That would probably kill all progaming.

what the fuck where is midas's pay? -.-

Well, one thing people have to realize is that the vast majority of gamers make a salary of $0 or close to it. The reason they can survive is because salary is counted separate from cost of living, which is usually provided by the teams. I don't believe players pay for rent or meals. That's why players with low salaries aren't really affected adversely by this.

You guys are hella misinterpreting their salaries. That's basically allowance for them, housing and food is taken care of. Imagine how your salary would be like if you didnt have to take care of food, housing or transportation. A lotta pro gamers/amateurs dont even make a salary, but they get hella perked just because they get free housing and free food. That's a big salary in itself.

Every appearance these guys make on TV, they get a payment. Every tournament they get into, they get a payment. Meetings with fans, making videos, photo shoots, etc
Lots of things to consider.
EDIT: Also, some progamers teach Starcraft at some university in Korea

I mean once you're retired how do you get a job and make money, Paul has a job now, he was someone who if he put the time in could have been pro

If they can hold down a job like this, then they can easily go out and find a job in some other field of work. Believe it or not, this a hard fucking thing to do for a living. And they can also (very easily) get a job within the e-Sports industry if they wanted to. Then there's the fact that they're apart of an industry where everyone from the players themselves to the camera crew and lighting guys are all basically friends with one another. I'm sure if they ever needed any kind of job recommendation, they can go to one of the contacts they have through this line of work.
