All Ro24 matches will be held at Yongsan Esports Stadium, tickets are free but you have to come early (5pm) to grab them.
Seems like there's not going to be a player intro/group selection ceremony? Bit of a shame -- would have been fun to see some showmanship from popular figures like Bisu and Larva, not to mention Sea, Shuttle, and ToSsGirL...
Pretty pitiful PR/marketing too, haven't even updated the "official website" since SSL 10. I wonder if fans just weren't aware of Challenge Day, Yongsan looked less than 1/3 full

yes. single elim i think with higher seeds getting to play the winners of the first matches.

sweet, i'll do my best to wake up on time (Blind-rawr's tweet helped me get up )
This was the similar problem I had with KSL and ended up not watching a single game of it live (and eventually not watching more than half of matches).
1200/1300 KST (10/11 PM EST) was perfect for me back then for me to live translate and be involved in chat/blogging but 1900 KST just kills it for me.
This may be one SSL I won't see it live and most likely result to very delayed (nor barely any at all) watched SSL for me.....

I'm so excited for this. Cheering for bisu of course. I also didn't understand why bisu and effort didn't have to do the challenge day but as long as bisu is participating...

Same here... I reckon it makes sense with there only being three slots that they went to Bisu, EffOrt, and ZerO (to fill the slots of of SSL 10 top16 Mini, Snow, and JangBi)
Perhaps because ZerO at least played in SSL 10 and Bisu and EffOrt have name recognition, thus forcing Sea to be left out?
But considering how unprepared Sea was for Olympus, I wonder if he would have lost immediately in the Ro24, as well...

I don't know if I'll be able to upload the recordings to Youtube. For SSL10, they all got hit with copyright claims from OGN so all I had was Twitch VODs.
I must say, I have a huge expectation of IcaruS. He is not a pro-gamer but certainly worthier than many former pro-gramers. It is very unfortunate his first opponent is Bisu, though.
I root for Iris. Berserker is back! He owned toss so badass.
And seeing that the top four finishers will advance directly into elimination bracket and 5-16th places directly into ro24 makes this challenging as hell. I think for poor new players this is madness if you add into this mix legacy players, legends like Bisu, Effort and Zero. And are there only 3 maps in pool? Are they going to loop 2 same maps at bo5?
And I don't undestand why they invited Tossgirl again when it's clear that a married woman can't catch up with male players who are laddering like 24/7 at fish. I really wanted to sea Hwasin instead of her and some D level newbies like Hi who got kwanrolled at bo3 in less than 10 minutes. And also NaDa returned from army so he could participate too.
Oh man, thanks for the info! I'm really excited for another SSL! Alas, no weird Sin Peaks of Baekdu shenanigans, but this looks like a pretty good tournament.

Is Kim Sung Je is that guy when at game against zerg - July canceled his expo and hatchery bug happened so this lead to rematch which won his opponent?
Why would he even be allowed to play?
I think Hwasin apologized enough to give him a second chance. I know, Savior can't be restored and he is still living on with tone like "I'm not guilty, but they're" from his last interview and never admitted his crime. And remember - this is amateur new scene called Sospa which is apart from KeSPA, so Sonic's starleague actually don't have anything to do with Kespa laws. However, Terror was banned and can't participate any Sonic league because of illegal betting. But still I think Terror is awesome guy.

No news yet -- likely more information available in the next few weeks. I imagine they'll use a maximum of 4 maps, like SSL 10, and loop/reuse maps for the longer series...

I can understand inviting ToSsGirL for some press/spectacle -- but in that vein, NaDa should have been invited too... I reckon they put the invite list together a month or more ago, before NaDa returned the Afreeca, so didn't make the cut?
Not having a player intro/selection ceremony before the Challenge Day really failed to take advantage of the star power of Tossgirl, Sea, etc... poor planning

OGN should give TossGirl the interview role now that she's out.
I would rather NaDa practice up a bit. I don't want to see another JangBi SSL9 performance.

I'm far more confident Nada could make a good ro24 showing depending on his group. Non top 20 elo players are very beatable.
what if NaDa didnt feel ready to be in competition right now ?,i mean someone like NaDa is a competitive player,im sure he would like to do well,no just like tossgirl one day thing

This is similar to what Prech is saying about Bisu only competing in one major tournament at a time. If that's the case, I can totally respect that.
