The tip top KeSPA teams of LoL might not be completely as insane as BW was at the peak (yet?) but they're without a doubt the most competitive thing in eSports today. LoL is growing heavily but it's definitely not as big yet as BW was at the peak, so it's too early to conclude anyway.  So far his analogy seems to be decently accurate for Korea actually, as the level of competition has increased dramatically with the growth of the game. | ||

It really depends on which side you're looking at, this is why the reports can differ without being false. I think PC-bang wise LoL is probably the most dominant game ever (?) or at least it's not unreasonable to assume that it's more played than BW was. It dominates PC-ratings ridiculously. On the eSports side it still grows quickly, but definitely needs some more time, just as BW needed. It has definitely not reached that state that BW had at its golden peak yet. | ||
