These two three are scheduled to participate in SSL10. Currently in the process of trying to find more Zerg and Terran ex-pros, I'll post [on the afreeca BBS] if I do. I've heard their skill level is amazing. I believe SSL10 may have the same incredibly lasting impression [that SSL9 is having]. I've been messaging Free for about 3 weeks now and he finally agreed yesterday! Please give me your support, I'll continue to work hard. As long as Brood War fans are interested SSL10 will not be the end, we could keep going to SSL20 and beyond. I'll work even harder to bring you an even better starleague!! ^^
This makes me think of that korean comic, posted on TL while a go about the MSL and how it came back in like 20XX or something (i dont remember the exact date) here it is
Iris will also be starting afreeca streaming and wants to participate in SSL, final fours, gomtv classics according to his very recent interview on fomos.

So does this confirm GOMTV Classic Season 5 to be very soon after Season 4? What about the possible sponsors Yellow and Co. mentioned about the Final Four "Starleague"?

confirms nothing. It's just Iris saying "ive seen the final four and ive seen the gomtv classics and I really wanted to participate but i couldnt." Just saying he wants to play and his competitive spirit is still alive? i guess haha just some positive messages

Fuck yea!
Snow, the only Protoss that can harass Zerg like Movie does. Best example is of course his BO5 against Jaedong in mid-2011.
Snow is one of two absolute favourite players of mine (the other being Movie). Snow's games always turned out entertaining. He was a thinking player with a lot emphasis on details. The kind of players that was always trying to the get the most out of every unit (he had the most deadly reavers ever seen).

I know this is sorta off topic, but a friend of mine (former Azubu player bboongbboong) is actually living with Iris, and he told me Iris might play in ssl 10. Although nothing is confirmed, other than that what I learned is pretty much already known, such as he will be starting streaming soon.
Snow! This is awesome! I actually used one of his televised games for a PvZ wall on Fighting Spirit. Snow really became a great player near the end of MBC-Game days. One of my favorite rising stars, beind by.Sun (now Rain) and Paralyze, of course.

Doesn't seem off topic at all lol according to the fomos interview though he sort of implies he wants to participate in SSL10 and I don't think Sonic would deny Iris a spot (I mean he gave Britney a spot cmon ~_~)

2 weeks is very ambitious, must have a sponsor lined up too in that case. But if we didn't get an SSL we'd just have another SRT anyway, mind as well do the SSL and have more people in the tournament. My only concern is that it gives people like Free and Iris less time to practice, and we all know how Iris completely bombed in his last entry. I have more confidence in Free (and Snow) than I do in Iris. Either way it's really nice to see both Snow and Iris back.
As a side note, the Afreeca BW viewers are spread a little thinner with the new entrants.

Does Afreeca even offer Ad revenue for their players? I know that they have ads when you load up a stream.

No idea, but most streamers probably make the bulk of their money from donations anyway.

I'm not sure if you're trolling or not.
I think he got really hyped as a joke or either hyped himself, because he had a pretty big mouth. In the Lost Saga MSL 2009 group selections he put himself in a group with Bisu during the group selection. + Show Spoiler +

He ended up getting knocked out in the first round either way. Also regarding the league. Watching the group selections was far more entertaining than watching the finals.

I was aware of the hype preceding the MSL selection ceremony, however, I believe that was completely separate from the issue: I watched an English cast, by Cholera, where he mentioned that maGma was supposedly as good as Jaedong in practice, but had severe problems adjusting to the live stage - similar to players such as Jaehoon and Hyun.
From youtube: Alexsteen5 years ago
Cholera if the only game you've seen of magma is vs Boxer then you need to watch his game vs flash in his prime. Magma, is notorious for wrecking people in practice games but choking in live matches. Even though Magma was reckless, throwing units away in the game vs flash, he still made flash earn that game. Magma has the best plagues I've seen.
I guess it's fairly well established that maGma was very strong in practice, the only thing that should be clarified, is - how strong was he relative to Jaedong (potentially as strong apparently).
Regarding the MSL selections, it involved him calling Stork and Bisu "big acorns," (whatever that means) and indicating that he would knock them out, or that he was better than them, or something to that extent.

Oh if I can recall magMa said that the 6 dragons should be called the 6 acorns instead
Does any one know where I can find the VOD of Free beating Jaedong (I think it was Jaedong) with an army consisting of nothing but with like 10 reavers and 25 archons? It was sick.

no they arent
i've talked to some eStro members and they said that he's pretty talented but didnt practice that much and that his ZvT was bad because of his poor muta control.
ya he wasnt gonna 3-0 flash with 2 hat muta, but he was a macro player anyway. he was ridiculously good in practice.

= YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm very pleased about Free but really, I think it'll even cooler to have Iris back! Maybe equally cool, hmm, tough one, but I feel yet more excited about Iris. Recently, I thought about his amazing series with GGPlay again and watched a game of Iris vs Bisu on Byzantium so it's nice and coincidental timing for me...unless through the power of my will and my fantasies, I made this happen. Yep, better give me credit just in case.
yeah I think sonic said he (sbenu) would be sponsoring ssl10 but afreeca taking over could be a possibility. Just no news on anything coming up and we're sorta left guessing stuff
It's a good decision to wait until after the world cup. It'll once again run roughly in unison with study semesters in various places in the world, I believe, which is nice timing (better that it finishes before you get towards the end of semesters when things are especially busy). SSL9 started before semester start dates and finished before the semester ends, at least where I am. I think it's ideal.

The last time OSL competed with the World Cup we got Nate OSL. As much as BW and other e-sports are popular in Korea I don't think they can hold a candle to football.
