Don't use wDetector... Have you even logged the packets you send when you run that garbage?? Not only are you sending hundreds of encrypted packets to korean http servers BY THE MINUTE that you have no idea what they are (could easily be personal info) but you are also sending mass GET/POST requests to banners and advertisements that are PPC services that give the wDetector owner money off your bandwidth... This has gone on far enough, I have never seen a bigger backdoor in the history of SC.
Starting exactly 30 minutes ago, all wDetector users will be flagged and dealt with until they no longer have the program injected.. If the creator of wDetector really thinks he can make $ off this idea of stopping hackers then thats funny because you'll never be able to stop hackers... you make a counter, we will counter your counter.. But reallly oblivion exploits?? Do you guys really think drop hacking hackers is a solution?? Seems like you want a little sc war going on..

Personal data? Lots of info are already sent when joining a game in SC
How do you expect some wDetector user to pull this crash exploit towards the end of the game when he's almost losing with a slight chance that the other guy is using Oblivion of all hacks or is using hacks at all?
Oblivion hackers are bound to use one of its hacking features, you can't even disable multicommand and why else would you load a hack and not use it?
If you're that worried, why not do this on Fish(which has a much higher population than East) where almost everyone uses wDetector? Why not create a superior antihack and just advertise it? I'm sure that many people would switch over to something much more superior.

Dropping a hacker for hacking is totally acceptable... I don't know how anyone could argue that it's not. It's lame that wdetector is a sketchy program but providing better anti hack software would be an actually productive activity as opposed to attempting to sabotage the best software that we have available.
This is kind of like if batman decided to fight the gotham police rather than work as an alternative source of justice versus it's criminals :D

You're defending Oblivion as if it's something people should just accept as a part of sc, when we should not. For everyone wanting to play broodwar casually or competitively vs others in a fair environment, there is no other option than using wdetector, as 99% of the players lack the programming and software knowledge to make any sort of viable counter to the hacks available.

If a person uses oblivion they deserve to be dropped, there is no justification whether or not they use a feature or not; they could just as well not be using oblivion and thus not running any of those risks. If you're going to argue they could get around wdetector through superior programming and software knowledge, that is their privilege, meanwhile there is pressing need to stop every moron on USEast and Fish that just presses the download button, from using oblivion to ruin everyone else's fair playing environment.
If you're THAT worried about backdooring in wDetector make a superior antihack so that people can switch rather than sabotaging the only existing one working vs oblivion. Quit supporting an exploit that does nothing but ruin games.
