There are Korean sites and there are non-Korean/Euro sites, but it seems to me that TL.net is the site closest to linking the two communities. We have multiple admins who are acknowledged to be amongst the best of the foreigners and some who have even competed in Korea's progaming arena. The site is a source of information for all SC/BW-related news, no matter where it is, and the community is worldwide. It feels like this site is the closest thing to a bridge between the Eastern and Western SC/BW communities. My exposure to the other sites is limited, so maybe I'm mistaken on all of this. But if I'm not, then it would be a great thing to incorporate to our logo/banner, and really let Blizzard know that we're the real deal. Something involving a globe would be nice (maybe a blue globe projeciton like they show in movies), maybe something involving flags from different nations (those that participate in WCG perhaps?), etc. Like I said, I'm no artist and will leave it to those who know to come up with something. | ||

either that or like, a map of one of those population density maps, with those different sized circles indicating how many pple live in that major city, etc (and adapt it to TL.net user density) | ||

That site shows IP addresses/locations/w/e of people who've visited some site or other. But I don't think it would look that great as a banner/logo... I rather like the wraith one. | ||

Actually that's quite funny because that's what I was thinking today : TL is to me the most multi cultural starcraft community. I can't imagine how countries are actually represented here. So I was thinking : starcraft related logo is fun and recognizable but not so team liquid related. All SandLot's team are starcraft related anyway. Now, Cyric gives us an interesting idea to incorporate, although I don't exactly agree with his examples (my style is much too minimalistic for that...  ) I'll try to design some logos with Cyric's idea in mind, and I hope others will join just for the hell of it.I vaguely remember having a point to make, but the point lost its way somewhere near the end of the first paragraph so whatever. Make a teardrop shape changing to a globe at bottom. Maybe put TL.net or horses in the teardrop. Wireframish could be nice. | ||

if mrmin's wraith is incorporated maybe stamped over the globe or inside the globe using jellycat's format, it'll be really nice and wtf i really didn't notice the horses until today, i had to look around for them too while thinking 'what the fuck horses on the banner where that's ridiculous i don't believe it' jesus i'm retarded | ||
