It is not a high quality show by all means, but I did like to get to see more about the Korean culture. So far most my knowledge on Korean culture comes from reading on TL for years, which obviously is very centred around gaming. I'm expecting it's similar for many of you, so I'm wondering if you'd be interested to see the show if I were to translate it. (I might need some help production wise, but translating alone should be cake.) TL;DR: a show about what a struggle it is for your average Korean to find a date. It used to be that the top ~20 player on the Elo can play any ladderer (non-progamer) and win 75-90% of the time, but it just seems this is not quite the case any more? I see top names losing so often these days that it's startling. Great for BW in general, but maybe it's some bias from watching certain recent matches  | ||

Great for BW in general, but maybe it's some bias from watching certain recent matches 1)smurfing 2)old semipros/pros occasionally coming back after a hiatus with more time to play eg. rush, zelot (this guy already mass cheese 900+ games THIS season LOL) korean pros still win the majority of the time, thats why they are at the top of the ladder there are a lot of promising amateurs but they need to undergo the old kespa regiment style of training if they ever want to match or surpass level of the old pros.. | ||

Long-time TL forum lurker coming up with a silly question.  Does anyone have an idea what  EffOrt's + Show Spoiler +victory celebration EffOrt vs  PianO Bo3 series:It seems to be a Korean remix of Eiffel 65 - Blue, but I could not find it based on the (seemingly) English lyrics sections. A friend who studies in Korea made out that one performer is called DOZ, but we could not find anything along those lines, either. | ||

Does anyone else get this? I'm playing a bw game with iTunes in the background, and then it bleed through like a skype message and if you accidently click on it, you get alt-tabbed from your game. But if you don't it continues hovering in the middle of your screen as you are trying fight a battle. Never happened with previous version of iTunes, but I get so mad when I get kicked out of the game like that. | ||

In the Notifications section, uncheck the "When song changes" box and bob's your uncle. Those iTunes updates will stop popping up and you can get on with your work. I don't use Itunes, but this may be the solution? I just did a quick google search. | ||

edit. Didn't see the quoted part initially... double edit. Hm. It seems that the ability to change notifications is gone or at least it certainly where all the screen shots say it should be and I cannot find it anywhere else. | ||

It's a hard pick, but i personally would name the  SSL 8 as the first post-kespa Starleague, that i fully acknowledge as such, given the level of play and the participants like Ssak, Hero and Sea, who premiered here. The SSL 9 is in my opinion,in without a doubt given that three additional Starleague Champions of old played it; Bisu Mind and Jangbi.Let me know what you think, im quite interested in this atm. | ||
