First off, comparing this to professional soccer is retarded. Way too different.
Well, that sucks. You guys were a mannered team. With the exception of that time of me enjoying the random flames your team gave me on PGT telling Mondragon and I how much we sucked in 2v2. Or the time they used Nal_keke in their lineup smurfing in a WGT-CL match vs me.
But my question is... exactly what do managers or leaders of teams that do nothing (afaik) but play WGT-CL do exactly?
Managing an unsponsored team takes 1-2 hours on a weekend, a few paragraphs written here n' there, and some msn reminders for people to show up to their matches.

4 Years ? lol.
This team was WAY older than that. It was there when I started playing (8 years ago) It is the oldest team alive from US East and was always the best team on east, along with X17 probably.
I don't get it. Seriously this team has gone through a lot more "hardships" than that and it stayed alive. Its had it's ups and downs but thats not too much asking for a team living for 8 straight years.
It can't just "die" that way. When I left the team the team was almost nothing. Oldy wasn't near this level at all, he was an unknown decent random user. And nobody on the team was very good but when i left everyone still stayed in heros) and made it what it is today, without mine or fayth's help which is incredible. Nope can't just die cause engage is bored with Starcraft, if it dies it's because of you members who are tired of the team and it makes a good reason to leave it, i guess.

general rant about the gayness of most admins. read wgt cl forums or observe a poland nw for examples.

Well what can i say, a lot of times in WGT the winner is actually the one who loses but knows a lot more about the rules.
And about Heros few people i knew were very manner and nice, and loyal too :O

Oh, also, to add that "one guy leaving (the leader) shouldn't kill the team," I thought I would add this.
Does anyone remember the team 88)? When Geoff was invited to ToT, he left the clan, and said he wouldn't trust the leadership of his precious 88) (and rightfully precious, as it was a great clan he was a founder of with years of rich history) in the hands of anyone except one of the co-leaders. That co-leader said he didn't feel up to the task, and couldn't compare to Geoff in the slightest, and felt the team would just degrade in respect and fade away.
So the team died. After losing one member. Its leader.
So 8882 can stfu now plzkthx.

Anyways, new teams eh? Wink wink senator.
Madden joined us, you should too! Then, get Oldy (Siz is west exclusive right?)... then maybe we can get Dl33ter to finally cave in.
!!!!!!!

Dude you people are so fucking retarded.
I've been a leader of LighT for about 2 years, and if Hap had left I would assume the team would crumble if no one wanted to take the leader spot. You cannot just find a replacement. Heros is a lot like LighT, so I am going to put us in the same barrel on this.
My point is it wouldn't be the same to have a completely random new manager running the team. It would be too awkward and I think this is a better move. This allows the players to move on and try other things, which not to toot my own horn... *toot toot*, but LighT and Heros were also two competing teams, and we would love to extend our hands out to some of the ex-heros members.

Engage deleted the team on pgtour, and kicked us all out on wgt. The team is non-existant anymore on any ladder. If we did find a way to group and begin as the same team again, perhaps on a different tag or the same then maybe it would work out, but who sees that happening? i sure dont.
and i agree, this is kind of like what happened when control left 88)

or read what your team did (and you happened to agree with) vs mym.legendary, right? You're being kinda hypocritical wouldn't you say?
Anyways I did not mean to hijack the thread. So back on topic, heros) i always thought was a good team and it's really sad to see them go since they were quite underrated imo.
