Also if you look at APM as something less tangable, ie your ability to multitask micro/macro/strategize at the same time (rather then an actual count of APM) it IS something that is important. | ||

when i went back and saw my vanilla replays, i saw how much lower their apm were than bw players. they were like 80, gosu were 120. in bw it was more typical to see 120 avg, 180 gosu. this was before all the apm mania too. i'm sure now it's inflated, bwcoached everywhere. but before people were conscious of it, apm was a fair indicator of pre-reflective skill. | ||
