![]() During a large foreigner/Korean event, he was quoted as being disgusted that any Korean lost a game to any foreigner. They were a lesser player, deserved no respect, and he urged Koreans to not lose another game to those [demeaning term I don't recall translated from Korean] I used to love Stork, now I just can't have any respect for him any more. Other professionals know the value of supporting foreign fans and players, he suffers from extreme Korean elitism.

It must have been a mistranslation or misinterpretation if it was that harsh. Daniel from Austria who became somewhat famous for his appearances at games chanting "Song Byung Goo!" was received well by Stork.

It's actually more immature to hold grudges against stupid prejudices that someone held when they were younger. Did you not have really dumb opinions at some point in time?

I remember that on WCG in the group stage in one game he was thinking to lose or not lose, so that he won't meet with his fellow korean. Also he once put an obs above turret on WCG, but don't remember was he punished for that or not.

Other professionals know the value of supporting foreign fans and players, he suffers from extreme Korean elitism. It would be shameful for any A rank ICCup player to lose to a C rank player. Because all Koreans are A rank and all foreigners were C rank (relatively speaking), this statement holds water and is not unfounded. Korean pros don't care much about foreign fans (in the sense that so few visit TL/get more than like 1 card from NeverGG/have any experience with foreign fans whatsoever) and are often surprised they have any at all. You're getting too hurt because of the obvious skill gap. Jaedong once said "it's like playing against the computer" after playing the WCG rep from Kazakhstan. It was more or less true - there is really no nice way to put the skill difference imo. Anything like "If they try really hard, they might be able to be as good as me (Stork/Jaedong)!" is just a cheesy lie. Thanks for the translation OP, part 2 would be great when you have some free time ^^

If I recall my mind correctly it was IEF 09 Bisu,Effort & Stork and your comments seem a little bit off...
