You'll know his style completely. And Xellos' style ain't that hard to get to know either. He's just very solid. Nothing really fancy. Which is why it doesn't matter how many times you play him..

And you hope that can get 30% ? You mean that you can get as much as oov and nada and boxer and cloud and control and DOGGI and the others get in average? I think Xellos is the MOST unpleasant opponent for non-koreans terrans, because a non-korean has the most chances against a progamer when it is a mirror matchup(there is more luck involved). But Xellos's TvT is in such a level that it is fucking hard to win him even for pros. This means beast, objectively, if you get 5% it is ok, if you get 10% it is fine, if you get 15% it is your theoritical maximum. Against xellos, at least. So, saying that Yellow is not coming to WCG=> it will be easier is odd. "it is your theoritical maximum" - It is your opinion. I didn't mean to insult Beast, I think he is a good terran because he got III place in WCG wich is not easy. I am just saying that playing TvT against Xellos and getting 30% is ok even for non-top-3 korean terrans, so Beast is not likely to have such a performance. 15% is not bad at all. I doubt Trek can get 15% wins against oov or Midas even with his favourite softwares on.

Getting 15% wins TvT vs xellos would be OK for boxer (I can't remember him ever beating xellos in a televised game ).

I never understood that with the perfect terran. He's neither boxer (strats), nada (control), oov (production), he's like... nothing. Boring, and not very effective. Good TvZ though. Xellos has fucking sexy control in TvZ ;p Very, very efficent I don't know fuck all about his PvT, but he beat pusan twice this starleague, he can't be that bad He's a fucking beast TvT, he beats everyone except nada (who gets beat by oov and is 50/50 by boxer, who gets beaten by xellos, who beats oov, who beats nada.. ETC). Brilliant.

My fav programm is Junior 8 :D(I can't get the newer version-9th T_T) It plays chess vs other chess engines like Fritz like Nada does tornado pushes vs chobo Protosses... Btw, watching Junior playing chess makes my temper higher. I suspect it also raises my potention :D

I knew I shouldn't answer this question, cause I knew what the responses would be. I don't judge Xellos by his stats. I judge him by his WCG TvT play.Which is almost identical to mine. And I said I'd be happy to win 25-30% of the time, not that I'd win 30%.

We didn't mean to insult you. If you play Testie or Trek(I dont know they are qualified or not, whatever), I will root for you. First of all, because everyone is mad on you after you got III place last year. Second, because I hate mappers. Third, because it will maximize your chances of meeting a korean terran, hope it will be Xellos. It will be the most exciting thing if you pull a cheese rush on him and rape him, though I think has almost the same probability as me winning a chess game with a splendid novelity against Anand Anyhow. Good luck man! Really.

Ummm.. someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but Xellos is known as Perfect Terran not becuse of his perfect micro/macro (not saying that he has those, though), but because he never lost a single game on Bifrost III. (actually, I think it was Bill who discovered this as not a complete truth because Xellos DID manage to lose one game on BF3... but I can't remember his opponent's name :/)

He deserves to be named Perfect Terran.

I think it was mensrea anyhow, basically he blocked of his entier half of the map or something) Nada > Xellos@bifrost (I think one of them went marine medics in late game on this one.. with it being part of a serious build and not some fuck around).

I saw on the bulgarian WCG site that DIDI has registered for the online SC tour as mTw.sc-DIDI8[BG] - but thats prolly just a fake cos he was already registered as mTw.DIDI for the WC3 tour. Can someone confirm?

Even if he really registered, he'd prolly not play.

What's so special about that Bifrost-thing?
|
During olympus starleague he had a very good record on bifrost 3. He didnt win in it with one-sided rapes but coming back from impossible situation by keeping calm. Example of this is game 2 of olympus starleague final with yellow. When yellow was about to win with swarms covering xellos's base but xellos destroyed yellow's only source of mineral and gas income and won with a marine only attack. Yeah and in bifrost in olympus he had i think 7-1 record on it losing to nada in a close game. That is why he was called perfect terran when he appeared on olympus. O yeah and also winning it and beating boxer 3-0 supported that too. Not sure if this is right but i think it is.
