If it wasn’t for Flash’s 13 all win streak, he would have gathered attention with his record as well. This season with a 11 win 2 loss record not falling behind in wins or win percentage is SK Telecom’s Jung Myung Hoon (Fantasy). Also when he wins he just won a very normal game so there weren’t many chances to interview him. Even the games he win with flair, his team lost so he had been called unlucky.
Q. It’s been a long time since an interview. How do you feel? Fantasy – It’s been way too long. It feels like I haven’t been in the interview room for a long time too. Through interviews I wanted to meet my fans. I just wanted to interview. (laugh)
Q. You have a great record this season but you had seemingly bad luck. Fantasy – This season the team's pace and my pace did not match well. Weirdly, I get easily covered up. (laugh) Even with a decent record, it did not match up to Flash’s and if I won there are many times my team lost so it feels like I did not get noticed, I felt sad. I hope I play well in the games remaining and our team goes into the post season. If we get in, this turns into a situation where you get the spotlight so I want the post season to come faster.
Q. You seem to show perfect play when you win. Fantasy – Since we prepare one match for 1-2 weeks, I have lots of time to prepare and the build becomes more solid so I won easily. However there seems to be a lacking ‘impact’ of a game so I’m a bit sad (laugh). I hope there will be more chances to play in the future. Its good preparing for games meticulously but I think it was more enjoyable when I was busy. Because there is no Starleague at the moment and the removal of the Ace Match, something feels missing. I have more time to rest now, that seems good on the surface but it reduces chances to show good play for players who do not get as many chances.
Q. Choi Yeon Sung (iloveoov) coach entered the army; you’re still doing very well. Fantasy – Even when ooV coach was here, in the end he gave me the green light to play the way I wanted to play. I think that’s why I adjusted so fast. (ooV best coach <3)
Q. You talked about your disappointment on the reduced number of matches. Fantasy – After becoming a 5 set match, players that played behind me was reduced. Even if it does not change to a 7 setter, I hope they increase the number of matches so more players can play. I felt this looking at recent situations.
[T/N – Hyung = a way for a younger male to address an older male, usually friendly] Q. You might be sad for Starleague not opening yet. Fantasy – I understand Heo Young Moo (JangBi) hyung’s thoughts (laugh). After winning the Starleague he has to continue that momentum but he did not have a chance to. I read JangBi hyung’s interview yesterday and I absolutely agree (laugh).
Q. Did you want to stop Flash’s winning streak? Fantasy – the reason I was sent on Ground Zero was to stop Flash’s winning streak. I made a complete game plan to stop Flash so I was disappointed when I played someone else. I have the build saved so with the intention of using it in the post season I will continue it improve it. Even up until out match with KT Rolster, I still had the most win king title in mind. If I beat Flash the win difference would have been only one so I thought it was possible but it did not work out so I gave up on that title.
There are many streaks that end abruptly and hard to predict, but whoever stops him it will be interesting.
Q. Any last words? Fantasy – It’s been so long I don’t know what to say (laugh). This season my TvZ improved Lee Yae Hoon (Sacsri) and Bang Tae Soo (Alone) joined out team so the practice environment really improved. I want to thank both of them. Also during our Fan meetings we could not do it properly so I felt sorry for our cheering fans. I will do my best for us to enter the post season.

Fantasy is starting to surpass Bisu in terms of accountability. Hopefully this isn't anything that lasts long for Bisu because I desperately want to see him dominating again. But it seems no one is afraid of him anymore...
Please don't start an argument with me over saying this. I am in no way knowledgeable to have an argument. I just say this in the POV of a low-level spectator and not an in-depth analyzer.
EDIT: Also, thanks for the translation! And please don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for Fantasy to take down Flash as well...
Haha, I was determined to finally translate an interview where SKT won for once, but then I saw it was Fantasy, and I knew you would do it xD
Poor guy really has had some tough luck this season. First round, he was always saved for set 5, and never even got to play. But in spite of that, he's been doing so well. I hope this season puts the "fantasy can't bio" and "he's just oov's puppet" sayings to rest.
fantasy.. one of my favorites.. but it does seem that the Bo5 format has taken its tolls on players one way or another. really hope they change it back to Bo7 in season 2 though....
Fanta vs Flash games are usually really, really good. It's the absolute highest level of TvT and an underrated rivalry since Flash always seems to pull through. But if you watch the games, some very close matches. The most epic TvT match ever and the most epic TvT series ever.
Poor Fanta. To play in the era of Flash can't be much fun - taking all your deserved attention all the time lol.

Yeah, I miss last season's Bisu as well. But even with a really dominant FB it's no guarantee come finals time. Assuming we make the play-offs, I don't think it will be a bad thing to do so after facing some adversity. Last season it was all a bit too easy, so maybe a more trying journey this season will help us.
Nice to see Fantasy being consistent for once. He'll probably put up a good fight against Flash but still lose in the end. Flash is just completely unstoppable right now.

Reminds me of Winter Olympics 2010. Mao Asada (Japan) was actually really really good but she was born in the same era of Kim Yuna (Korea) who completely destroyed the record...
I would like to be the first to congratulate fantasy on taking second place in the elo charts. It seems only one S class played can have the spotlight for SKT at a time. Get it together Bisu, FBB is almost in form! SKT fighting!

Fantasy has always been the rock of SKT. Bisu had an amazing season last year, but Fantasy has always been the star, imo.
(I think he has the highest playoff win% of any player in SC, right? ^^)

Bisu is the guy that gets the all-kills (and beat jaedong like every game last season). Fantasy is the clutch guy for playoffs (I literally don't remember him losing once (not that he necessarily never has, won't or wouldn't have but I still don't remember one loss) including a few crucial ace matches vs effort and such in the 09-10 season).
His "bad" tvz is kind of a thing of the past as well, he's 65%+since the beginning of 2011 with loads of bio wins vs zero, hydra and such; people just seem to keep forgetting, It's kind of like Best's PvZ (you wouldn't still call it bad now!?) just people haven't really noticed because games are pretty spread out and the last few games have just been zergs dying to his first push like zero the last 2 games they played.
Fantasy is not really any more streaky than anyone else (removing flash ofc) It's just that he has a way of looking pretty silly when he loses :D. He's actually been pretty damn consistent for a while now, after he got his TvZ together.

And Sacsri's ZvT!!! Epic defiler play, GGplay would be proud. xD
Poor Fantasy, to live under the shadow of Flash. Such a great player, but actually a bit underrated because he is always overlooked with Flash's stellar record. 11-2 is very impressive. Now if only Bisu could play like he did last season SKT would be unstoppable.
It was really regretful that Fantasy Lost that final game in OSL vs JangBi. He would win 2 OSL titles in a row and surely win also Player of the Year award. That would steal some spotlight from Flash. I hope he can make it this year, Fantasy really deserves that. And Flash is just boring
