Recently Ruby was interview by fomos and he was asked what he has been doing now ? Since ruby has been classified as a pro gamer who is "players refusing to contract " he can't play for any team until the end of the season . With that in mind Ruby decides this is the last time he will be interview as a pro gamer and decides that he will start a new dream .
Ruby stated that he was still keen in becoming a pro gamer that's why he decided to join air force ace to continue expanding his mind and he even had a decent offer before mbc game was close down and when he finally return back from air force ace the team has already closed down . Despite initially rejecting the first offer of teams because of the small salary, he was offered another one with better incentives and salary and yet when he accepted the offer the coach says it's too late (editor note " what kind of offer is this ? with limited time ").
Ruby ended the interview that he is confident that he succeeded as a pro gamer and he will be successful in other fields too .
WTF! Ruby was one of my favourite Terrans, sad to see him go. He had so much potential too. Quite upset at this news, but I guess it's not that surprising considering MBC disbanded by the time he's discharged from the military and teams have yet to pick him up...
It's just sad. I'll miss your TvZ Ruby. Good luck chasing your dreams!

the sad part is that he was going to say yes and then the team withdrew the offer </3 i was waiting his return to mbc for this year ... hope he does well outside of scbw best of luck ruby
Weird. I stopped following him awhile ago but I thought he had potential when as an airforce ace boy he pulled off victories with mass wraith. (ok I just loved those games)

IIRC, it was a combination of getting his service done early and the fact that due to the rules for proleague at the time, he wasn't going to see much playing time on MBC behind Sea and Light (back when it was required to send out one of each race), whereas he'd be one of the better players on ACE.
Shit. Damnit. Right after that praise from iloveoov's interview. Ruby always seemed to have the worst luck in ACE, but he had really bright moments. Really fun player to watch, and quite gosu. That's weird that he couldn't accept his offer after 10 minutes?
That's so damn lame that he can't enter into negotiations with another team until the season is over, why the hell not? The 10 minute thing seems kind of strange too, it's such a short time frame and suddenly the deal disappeared. Maybe the coach was talking to another player as well, and would be happy with either, so he gave them both the same deal and the other player made the decision before Ruby. This interview seemed a little short for my liking, I wanted to hear more T_T On the plus side, he's still very young, I hope he finds success. Good luck Ruby, hope you have better luck in the future.
That is sad how when he was was going to accept the offer it got withdrew by the team. Hopefully he enjoys doing whatever he plans on doing for the time being.
After reading the interview, I feel like the time given for him to consider the offer was far too little. Pretty unfair, tbh. Oh well I guess some things just don't pan out right.

This is really sad. His TvZ was really awe inspiring at times, he was such a great player on MBC and ACE, really sad to see one more very known name leave the scene (hiya, lomo, ruby, all terrans I had a thing for )
He produced so many good games.

Maybe I'm just nostalgic, but damn, this really hits where it hurts.
He was actually very talented. but imo, the fact that he had to join ACE at such a crucial time in his progaming career evidently became his undoing. sad to see him go like this.
It's unfortunate that the system they put in place harmed a lot of the players, especially the ones that were serving the military who would (for obvious reasons) have worse stats than other players in the league.

Wasn't he the one who also did the medic to blind obs in TvP on match point? I can't remember the protoss, but that was a pretty sick game as well. Seems dumb that teams don't want him perhaps he costs too much.

No D: Ruby had a lot of promise once getting off of ACE... he definitely still could've done well. Good luck to him in the future, hope he'll end up succeeding in whatever he's doing :D!
