This just came in on twitter. pretty nice that cj continues to get the community involved in their endeavours.
ENTUS_Progaming CJ ENTUS If you have any good ideas for Pro-league Back ground music of CJ Entus pro-gamers, recommend us through twitter mention(for whom and why)
Edit 1: I realised that this thread pretty much degenerated into a post a youtube link thread, at least justify your song to generate some discussion. And if you want your song to be played, tweet them @ENTUS_Progaming. =)
ENTUS_Progaming CJ ENTUS Gamers might send you some valuable gifts if your recommend songs are selected. Tips)we don't want to play soft rock music for BGM no fun
I believe if you actually want your song to have a chance of being picked, don't pick a western piece that has RIAA copyright. CJ Entus and Ongamenet probably won't want to pay massive royalties for the intro music. So Guns 'n Roses or Kill Bill isn't going to work. If Conan O'Brian's show wouldn't pay royalties on Michael Jackson's Thriller being played in the background in a restaurant (which resulted in some humorous fiesta music being dubbed over it), Ongamenet certainly won't pony up the cash.
On the other hand, recommending a Korean piece would actually have the highest chance of it being selected, since it'd be trivial to negotiate the playing rights for those.
I always thought For Whom the Bells Tolls by Metallica would be pretty darn badass song for this kind of purpose. Hehehe or Ride of the Valkyries by Wagner >:D
