OGN Production team in essence stated that due to recent negativity that's been looming around the esport scene , made the decision to absorb most of the mbc game commentators to ease down the negativity that has been spreading around and according to OGN they hired more esport (MBC) related worker other than just the two highlighted commentators .
Hat's off to ogn for doing these , makes me proud that msl casters are going to be casting ogn games , these is going to be fun .

THATS HOW YOU DO IT.
Swag.

Dat suit
Cool to see that they are doing some PR clean up work, still excited to have MSL casters on the team.

Balls!
If this season is successful, then there is no doubt that BW will live longer than what these non-believers thing it will last.
|
<3 OGN
It seems like those guys are always doing stuff for the betterment of eSports.
|
If it is successful, then I hope they'll get some official English casters. :| Not to be little Beo or anyone else who restreams with commentary, but I don't freaking know Korean. The more I heard djWheat talk about eSports as whole, the more I see no freaking reason why Brood War can't be as strong as ever.
Heck, there's HoN, LoL, DotA... CoD, BF3.. all the same genre but different games. Why NOT market BW to English speakers?

Was the title done via google translate?

I prefer watch BW as korean stream. Don't know why but they have more passion even though I don't understand what they say.

Where's Kim Chul min tho...? He is absolutely my favourite caster!

Because, realistically, blizzard would do everything to screw us over. They already tried to kill BW but saw SC2 doesn't take off in Korea regardless. If BW threatens their English speaking esports market that they're currently milking, then things might go sour again.

good move. I loved the MSL casters will be kind of strange seeing them casting on OGN now.

Gogo OGN MBC Archon. We shall call it OMGBCN or "Oh my god, Bacon!"
|

OGN is so cool. MBCGame is so lame. Screw them and their music channel.
|
Sick looking suit. Good move also!

^MBCGame is great, it's MBCplus (the company that owns MBCGame and a bunch of other subsidiary channels) that has decided to pull out of esports. The staff at MBCGame have no choice in this.
Edit: As yet, only commentators Lee Seung Won and nO.1 have moved to OGN, the future of the rest of the casters/commentators is unknown.
|
cool that actually means OGN is making money >.>

At least one of those things gets to continue on due to OGN being awesome.

At least one of those things gets to continue on due to OGN being awesome. to me, the reason why MBCGame was pulled out was, despite the awesome games produced and the awesome commentators, the MSL finals themselves had too many hiccups and weren't as excited, and i suspect they didn't get much viewership as well. Nate MSL -> Power outage Hana Daetoo MSL -> Okay, but not too exciting Bigfile MSL -> FvJ again, and everyone sorta knew who was gonna win, people were getting bored of FvJ as well. Sponsor quality drops. PDPop MSL -> Sponsor quality dropping more. Very forgettable finals except for game 1. ABCMart MSL -> I actually sincerely forgot that Flash won the golden badge through this. Really kind of a forgettable one-sided pwnage. Sponsorship goes up but finals quality wasn't too great. MSL cripples and dies.
Not to mention the fact that MSL's sponsor was always getting overshadowed by OGN's.... (Korean Air, Bacchus, Jin Air, Ever... all huge names)
Kind of unfortunate for MSL, really. Just a series of unfortunate events.
