Just because they don't have a B-team doesn't mean they have no one to practice with.

So so so excited for team 8 to starting destroying everyone . I kind of like him, lol. I'm glad they picked a new coach with some experience instead of just picking the FOX or OZ coach. That guy will make the team look more fresh, and that will help draw in companies that are in it for the long run. Creeper coach FITING!

My other hope is that Jaedong won't make everyone forget how to win again.

SKT has 22 members, but only 6 of them played in Proleague in any meaningful amount. Considering the 6 on Team 8 were the best from their respective teams and all regularly played, I don't think that'll be a problem. I mean, you can always send out Jaedong again for the ace ^^ I don't see how the practice environment is bad. The other 3 members were all supposed to be really great practice partners, and they do have a training house. There'll be less PL games played overall this season, so they won't be too stressed or overworked either.

If 6 players need to practice for their game on a specific map, that leaves a very small pool of players to help them practice. Imo, they need a bunch of cheap practice partners that will give them more options even if they can't be fielded. Ah, yeah I guess you're right. But I guess they just don't want to risk signing on too many players or overwhelm potential sponsors by thrusting 20 people who need salaries and expenses paid on them. I imagine as soon as they can secure a sponsor, they'll be able to acquire a real B team. Either way, hoping Coach Hoon can pull off some magic and get another SKT-esque megacorp to sponsor.

The biggest hurdle is that they only just started practicing on the new maps as a team. When the new PL maps were released to the teams, players from the 3 disbanded teams were able to get hold of the PL maps through friends in other teams but because they lost their hostels and practiced from home/at a friend's house, they were at a huge disadvantage.
