I saw that first game on Great Barrier Reef, and boy is that map TvP imba. If all maps were like that, Flash would have a 95% winrate in TvP. gogo took advantage of the map to get a really fast safe 3rd, and then he had a significant lead already, but kept on taking expansion after expansion, because the map allowed him to defend them. Bisu should have read him better and adapted, but he didn't lose because he got outmacroed. Game 2, gogo tried to punish Bisu's fast 3rd with a 4 factory timing attack, but the attack was too late, so he lost. He needed to put those factories down sooner, or maybe a deep-4/5 timing attack would have worked better. I've also seen Flash move out on just 2 factories and win in similar situations, but that's Flash. Game 3 was just a 1 base timing push by gogo that shouldn't have worked against Bisu, the master of Protoss micro. Bisu seemed very much out of balance through the whole series, and if I remember correctly, SKT sent him on a vacation shortly afterward, so he probably didn't do himself much justice in that series. | ||
