That said, if these maps truly are "original", I don't think protosses should complain right now. Because it takes a while for strategies to truly develop, and race imbalance may not be apparent at first. But if the maps are still cookie-cutter maps with some whacky pathing, then they would be legit in their complaints. battle royal? ![]()

You've gotta love map balance discussions. The new Dragons trying their best to influence things - I'd expect no less from professionals. Not long now before my beloved BW returns....your days are limited evil off-season!

When I heard about his eye the information that was given was kind of weird so I didn't fully know what was going on or I just read wrong. Either way this is great news if it's successful but I hope he can get used seeing with both eyes~ hasn't he been like this for a long time now?

His one eye was fucked up when he was little (we don't know what happened) His other eye has been bad for quite a while now.

Hydra's LASIK is on his "good" eye, not the damaged one. Because he's been solely relying on one eye for intense usage like SCBW, his eyesight is degrading on that good eye. Before he put on a lens he could barely tell what's going on in the minimap. He put on that lens and he had his recent surge as #1 Zerg (sigh JD get your act together). So he's doing that LASIK on the good eye to see better without the lens. I'm not sure whether it helps him preserve his eyesight longer or whatever. In other news, looks like the Shutdown Regulation will be edited to exclude Blizzard games. I don't have any official statements but there are articles on the usual sites (Fomos, DES, TIG, PlayXP, etc. blablabla) that report that Family Women's Council will make the necessary edits to exempt Blizzard's classic games from the regulation. The tricky thing is that this raises the question whether SC2 should also be exempt (for now it seems like it'll still be affected) as well, since it falls under the same category of "packaged, CD-installed games" but the user's age can be checked.

One eye gone and the other one deteriorating due to the stress. Lasik is hardly a permanent solution ![]()
