I really hope they play some BW showmatches though.

I hope they were invited to play showmatches in BW and not SC2,because otherwise....well you know what's gonna happen right.
What's gonna happen?

I would really love some BW exhibitions but I think it is EXTREMELY unlikely. but who knows

You guys are so paranoid Lol.
Kespa and Blizzard tensions have diminished quite a bit. I don´t think any of this guys are stupid enough to accept playing a showmatch in a game they are not familiar (Similarities and easier Mechanics aside, they risk too much in showing their SC2 because they might end up looking like fools).
As much as the thing about Blizzard wanting to kill BW is exagerated Blizzard has been known to support their games for a long time. Maybe a good will act from Blizzard? To make up for the whole lawsuit thing?
I think they will probably play some BW showmatches and get to have fun at Blizzcon. Blizzard gets to please the BW fans, shows some goodwill to the Korean BW scene, everybody is happy(except those people who are never happy).
have fun at Blizzcon!
E: And really anyone thinking they will switch over. Lol just lol. One might have an argument if this guys were washed out or something, but they still get good salaries and still do well in BW. Although I wouldn´t mind them playing some SC2 showmatches btw

Of course the one year where I'm in Korea instead of California, they invite my favorite BW players to Blizzcon. Of course. Do this again next year Blizzard, please. And invite Stork too.
Hoping for BW matches, but I am indeed curious to see how they'd play SC2.

I'll see you guys there! I hope I can get JD's sig on my old sc1 box ^_^_^_^_^
I hope they play sc2, a demonstration of what is possible in the game is necessary before going back to BW going "Yea, you guys have a long way to go"

Dear everybody: Nobody is going to force them to play anything, if they play SC2 or BW showmatches it will be of their own choosing. So please, stop saying "hope they dont force them to play sc2" or anything along those lines.
|
If Artosis gets to commentate a BW showmatch between any of these he's going to lose it
|
I don't think they'll be forced to play anything at all. I wouldn't be surprised at them willingly play SC2.
|
why does this have to be on the west coast

Because West Coast is the Best Coast. :D

Interesting.. It'd be cool to see them play some BW matches or even SC2 matches.
|
It's ok it's just the retarded nature of zealots, they think their idols share their mentality and lack of practicality.
They'll show up, get asked questions about balance, how the game flows for top level play, maybe do some exhibition matches, go home.
Kids need to chill out and not go full on retard the moment anything happens.
|
I might watch SC2 almost exclusively, but I'd definitely tune in to a series of SCBW showmatches if these guys play, wow. Here's hoping Tastosis + Day9 get to commentate.

My first thought was a goodwill gesture, so that's what I'm hoping right now.
Now to play the waiting game. As if off-season waiting wasn't tense enough already 0.o

well, I guess we can assume that they will be playing BW, I mean Kespa wouldn't have let them go if it was to promote SC2, would they?
maybe Blizzard thought they would try some sort of community reconciliation to promote SC2 in Korea (after the lawsuits etc didn't work out too well xD )

Blizzard has obviously engineered the HypnoToad and force them to play SC2.But yeah if they play SC2 it will be because they wanted to.

Because Irvine is 10 minutes away from Anaheim.

Lol this shit is pretty cool. It doesn't matter what they play I'm 100% sure none of you would turn down the chance to go see them live. (I wouldn't! :D) Awesome chance for those attending Blizzcon.
