did they do anything specific at blizzcon or did they simply enjoy the event and signings etc?

I'd say there are two reasons why Blizz might've invited them (not counting the "they're cool" reasons):
For PR, i.e. to let the fans meet them, which makes fans happy, which makes fans buy games and makes blizzard monies. And to show them the international SC2 scene, which I'm quite sure is something they really don't have any knowledge about.

I mean, think about it. If one of these four start playing SC2 because they invited him to Blizzcon and he went "Man, this looks awesome, I wanna be a part of this!", wouldn't you think Blizzard would be fucking thrilled about that? They want these guys to play competitive SC2, and I'd say it's totally worth the money (what, a couple of thousand bucks? that's like snack money for Blizz) they'd spend to get them there for the potential ROI of getting one of the SCBW legends to play their new game.

Yay!

Seriously, I think the point of them being invited by Blizzard was to expose them to the SC2 scene. More like giving them a feel of the situation of the game in the esports scene.

Urban dictionary indeed. I thought the joke was quite apparent given the uber-crushes on Bisu and Jaedong (my own fanboyism of FantaSy notwithstanding).
Cheers ShadeR.

Kantata Fish was not invited to Blizzcon and that teenaged salmon shouldn't have asked for it ^_^

Truth be told, this would be the exact reasoning. I don't doubt for a second they have ulterior motives with this but at the end of the day, despite what Blizzard is attempting to do, they're giving a lot of fans a chance that they would normally never have

Still, it seems like a waste to invite them for the fans to get a chance to say hi without providing them with a translator or a signing booth or something like that. The way this was handled just seems really half assed, and if one of Blizzard's goals was to reach out to the BW community in Korea, they could have done more.
