I have a question about the 나는 한국인 thing. Someone on the last page said that if you don't have a korean windows then you need to type it to get wDetector to work. I'm on an english version of windows in Canada but in my Region and Language settings I'm set to Korea. Is that enough to make the detector work properly or do I still need to type that? I haven't played vs any hackers since I've started using it so I can't be sure if it's working or not.

WOAH WOAH nvm, it does work.
apparently you have to be with other people in a game room for it to work.
it does not work if you are by yourself or with a computer.

just type 나는 한국인 in a gameroom with at least 1 other person in it and it should activate full wlauncher use. no one will see your 'message'.

ah yes, I'm sorry I should've replied much earlier but yea it has to be with another person in the lobby, not by yourself. If it works, a shitload of overlay stuff appears in the game lobby, like Time, version number in the corner, names of all those who joined w/ their ping, wDetector version (or not) and random numbers and maybe some other things I'm forgetting. The features are utilized with the numpad in-game, such as broadcasting who is hacking, drop-hack protection (not against all types tho), hide drop screen to chat, and some other features lol.

To enable korean, just look taht up on google. Make sure not to accidently toggle Korean in-game, as your hotkeys will not work at all if your korean is toggled on.

This is getting really annoying...
Ive installed Korean language pack for XP and I can type korean in Windows, browser etc.. but when I try it on BW all the characters show up as questionmarks so I cant enable wdetector.
Any help here?

It seems like on the newest version of wlauncher, there's a button in b.net called "wjoiner" which you can use. Also, it seems that there are some settings so that your servers won't be overwritten by the fish server.

Maybe im just a computer noob, but I cant get this stuff to work. Iv installed the Korean keybord thing but I still only get letters whenever I type in stuff everywhere. Really wanna get this stuff to work so I can ladder properly as its sooo hard getting games at iccup at C and higher. Do I need to change the entire windows settings to Korean or something to get this to work?

Yeah I have both wlauncher and minilauncher, but judging from this thread you kinda need the wdetector antihack thing working to ladder properly and I am failing at making it work

How do I know if its working or not? I have kor language pack, changed my system locale to korean, but I still cant type hangul in game, only in the menus. Anyways I typed it with hangul set to on so it showed weird characters, After starting a game this showed up.
