- It's your first individual league final. ▲ Because it's my first final, I still can't really believe it. I feel like I've won just another match, and I'm a bit shaken up. - You seem to be playing a lot better after your first Ro8 game against Calm. ▲ From the second game of that series, I played with an empty mind. Thanks to that, I got the jitters out of my system and I could play like I usually do in practice. - You beat your nemesis Jaedong. ▲ I didn't lose in the individual leagues because I faced Zergs - rather, it was because I played poorly. So that part wasn't really on my mind. Against the other Zergs, I beat them often in practice but I always seem to lose in live matches. However, against Jaedong, because I always lose in practice, I thought that maybe I could win in live matches against him (laughs). - Your mindgames really shone. ▲ I always lost when I tried to outthink my opponents. So this time, I let everything go and left Soulkey in charge of everything. Soulkey told me to go 9pool so I did just that and somehow, it worked. I think although Jaedong read my mind, I used Soulkey's strategies, and that's why I could win. Soulkey doesn't really think a whole lot, so it must have been hard to predict my play today (laughs). - People tend to say that you have a weak mental state. ▲ I kind of have to agree. When I reflect on myself, I can see strands on that. But like I showed people today, I think I can really show my true skill in live games too, and not just practice. - It seems like you'll need Soulkey's help again in the finals. ▲ Soulkey's help really was a big boost in this series. Regardless of who comes up, he'll be a big weapon on my side. If Hydra comes up, he can act as a practice partner, and if Flash wins, he can give me advice on how to play. Ahh.. if Flash wins, I hope that Crazy-Hydra and Coach Kim Sang-Hoon, who recently transferred to KT, doesn't give him too many tips (laughs). - Who do you want to face in the finals? ▲ It will be fun to face Flash. If it were the semi-finals, I want to face Hydra but because it's the finals, I want to play a ZvT. - How are you going to prepare for the finals? ▲ To be honest, I was supposed to get knocked out in the Ro8 but somehow I crossed destiny to make it to the final. Rather that try to win, I'll try to show all the skills that I possess. I hope the result is good. - The final venue is Kwang-Un University ▲ It's the school that our old teammate Special went to, so it's somewhat of a special place to me. I've visited their ice skating rink a few times, so as soon as I saw the venue, I wanted to make it to the final. - Final words? ▲ I want to thank the fans that cheered me on. It's our first individual league final appearance since the team's inauguration, and although it's really late as a first final appearance for both me and the team, I'll practice well so I want to tell the fans that they can count on good games. Thank you to all my teammates for helping me practice, and I'll return after this interview and buy them food so I hope they leave my credit cards alone for the time being (laughs).
Well done Zero, i was hoping JD would get through just for the sake of a Flash/Jaedong Finals once again, but Zero deserves his place imo, he's a great player.
I can imagine the preparation in the woogin's house : Zero : "omg omg, JD again, maybe i should try something crazy like 6 pool for 3 hatch zerlings all in?" SK : "bleh, just stop thinking and go 9 pool every game"
Hilarious interview, I literally loled. Especially at ''Soulkey doesn't really think a whole lot, so it must have been hard to predict my play today ''. XD ROFL!

I see what you did there.... ZerO fuck yeah! I totally had faith in his ZvZ against the Tyrant Ty for translation!

Haha ZerO is such a funny guy. I really hope he takes the final. I always felt like he had the skill to win a title if only he could avoid playing against Zergs, and now he makes it through two tough ZvZs so he seems to have at least somewhat fixed that weakness too.

theres interviews done by the commentators (seen on tv) and interviews done by the press (fomos/des)
Congratulations to Zero. Cross him off the list of best players never to make a starleague finals

Source??? Picture has fomos watermark on it but...
ZerO did indeed overcome his lifelong curse and now he's reached new heights. Not sure if he can win versus either Flash or Hydra, but perhaps SK will prepare him for another round of magic!

WOW so unexpected, I did expect zero to lose vs calm and NOW HE BEAT JD??? I missed the series but that's pretty insane, hopefully zero can win a starleague title and we'll see a boost in his performance (needs to be way more consistent esp vs zerg)
No ZerO interview is complete without his trademark trolling. But I think he's a little bit serious this time around. Now, FlaSh must fight through his semifinals with his life on the line for all of this to make sense.
its kind of funny how he trolled soulkey here when in the interview after the game he actually complimented him for helping him with the builds. flash - zero final gogoogogogo
Thanks for the interview! Was really fast! Fomos site interview in english has came up as well, though the english is slightly off. I seriously wonder how to get that fomos watermark... Would like to use it in photoshop..
Jae... T>T Damn it I wanted a JvF FvQ? Flash vs Queens? Come on Flash don't let Hydra get the best of you. One of LeeSang has to make it through Lets go Zero... I swear atleast win one game vs Flash... Taking out Jaedong... T.T GG
Thank you for the translation. I really appreciate it. =D I was pretty shocked to see Zero win off Jaedong, but when I thought about it, something seemed different about Zero's ZvZ since his series against Calm. I'm rooting for Zero all the way and hope that he faces (and beats) Flash in the finals! Qt Zerg fighting! =D
I cannot believe Jaedong lost to Zero O____O I don't exactly hate Zero and I think he's a chill dude mos def, but I don't like him either and he's sort of annoying to me, tbh. How did JD lose....well good game, well-played, Zero.
I hope Flash crushes him though Chill guy and nothing personal against him, but I hope he loses.
I'm still a little bit shocked about last night's result. Even though JD's ZvZ has been down a bit recently, I thought he'd rise to the occasion. Having said that, Zero's strategies and micro was just so impressive, and he clearly deserved to progress.
I respect JD so much, but it's hard not to like Zero - who can hate somebody with such a great wit and Horang2-like innocence!
I'm soooooo looking forward to the finals. Given that Flash beats Hydra. If Hydra wins vs Flash (wtf) I will pray for Zero, or else I will be sooooo pissed...
Zero's biggest problem isn't how to use queens against Flash. It's how to even get to the queen stage in the first place. Over the last three Jaedong vs. Flash finals, which spanned 11 games total, only once did Jaedong ever manage to hold onto his third base. In every other game, if Jaedong didn't win early, he lost his expansion only a few moments after they went up. Finals Flash is an entirely different beast from Proleague Flash.

Flash also has a problem how to survive the first muta-ling or lurker-ling bust, especially given how perfect ZerO's micro is recently.

And Zero (and Hoejja) were mainly the guys who flashed practiced with for finals and against Jaedong. Flash vs Zero would be one goddamnit epic thing, cant imagine otherwise
